We've been busy since early last year writing and consolidating the epic first campaign for the Tefr game. So busy that I often don’t stick my head out of the writing trenches to see what else is going on, or to communicate with anyone. For that I am sorry.
The net result so far has been a series of fully interlinked scenarios, along with maps and illustrations. Each one is a playable story in its own right, while collectively forming a much larger story that draws from the history of the region as well as the mythology of the Tefr world itself. Did I mention epic.
We've just finished the initial edit of the tenth in the series called the “Saan Gate”. It is the penultimate scenario. We're now working on the season finale, which is provisionally titled “Wings of Fire”.
To put a little bit of scale into the project, while some of the earlier scenarios are designed to ease the players into the story and world setting, some of the later scenarios are made up of several linked stories that happen either concurrently or consecutively. Most are 10-20k words long. Indeed, the whole campaign so far (conservative total) is around 150k words. It will probably hit about 170k once the final scenario is written. Man that’s a lot of work. It’s good to step back and look at these things from a distance occasionally. Perhaps even give yourself a pat on the back. It’s not the biggest Tefr project to date, but it’s pretty close.

We should also mention we've also drawn all the maps, illustrations, and cover designs in house for each of them. The cover design for the Saan Gate, was another of our Blender efforts, although most of the illos are hand drawn.
Obviously, we’ll make a bit more noise once the final scenario is written. we’ll also be blowing trumpets as we release each beta version of the series
