Creating character is not just a minute work as you have idea of a character is a diffrent thing and creating it in actual working model is a separate thing ,it involves :-
In this case i had:-
Character idea (i wanted to create a game where the lead character should be cute , the enviornment i had in my mind was warm high key adventous tone hence the character shoul potray it) so i took refrences

No better than Google Dino game Well It was Awesome for a start as i got the walk cycle idea and the character silhoutte . Now i had to make it cute for i have more pixels to spent

So i took Gon from Tekken

Then i got My Rex



Its Cool!
Now the enemies
for flying dino(Pterosaur)


It was Easy to figure as i am a fan of jurrassic park/world movies so i made it in the similar shape

i have used asprite software for pixel art creation my package of pixel art will be(asprite , photoshop and after effects), i know its a weird combination but it tremandously helps with the animation in pixel art and visuals i have used it in Norbert and the Robot and the visuals are absolutly amazing

Each Frame is Crafted Individually ,yes There was a Though came to my Mind About when there is AI i should create my frames there and i have tried to get a decent result but the charm wasnt there and the shape silhoutte wasnt good enough though shading was good in AI but the animation didnt came out well which i intended for my Game!.


But for my game art style it didnt go with MY game , What do you think about it tell me in the Comments.Would appreciate it if i know what my readers think .Thank you for your support.
Now for the Enviornment , as without the correct enviornment the actor couldn't do anything and the audience will not get the experience they are paying for , so i started looking for pre historic enviornment even from games and movies of jurrasic park and even lot of pre historic refrences yet for game i couldnt find something that suits me for art style and adventours experience for my game so i look up to the old master Mario!!. the mountains and hills actually gives realistic feeling if i draw them but super mario bros's enviornment looks really sick and to me i found a good refrence

And i said its perfect !! for my theme as i could easily start with a good visual depth and neat pixel art

Yeah i was kinda busy so couldnt make it to every day post but yeah now i am getting it back , so Sound and bgm for the game is a real task that i needed to work on and , as i do not have any funds on me right now for this game and trying to figure out to aquire the funding , I thought it would be better for me to try ai for the Sounds bgm , though some sfx i have used from royality free sound , but i apromise there is more to come for improvements and human ones as well ,

Only few minor changes are left then after that game's Alpha build will be released
i wonder how much better the game looks the time i started , theres animation for everything character does now
kinda like the Dino actually likes the enviornment

from water splashes to character jump , down face , rawr and even hurt all of it comes alive after put all together , for animation i had used asprite as the software itself provides the animation tools that actually helps to see the character coming out live in the workbench
