6, 7 Bandits Are on the Wake

🎬 Absolute Cinema

This project is about creating bandit characters for a game. I’m still working on it, but the first model is finished, so I wanted to share what went right, what went wrong, and what I learned so far.

βœ” What Went Right

  • Finished the first bandit model in Blender.
  • Kept a low poly, single texture style as usual.
  • Workflow in Blender felt smooth once the style was decided.
  • Learned that I can finish models fast if I don’t sleep πŸ˜…

βœ– What Went Wrong

  • The character doesn’t look like a bandit yet.
  • Design needs more personality and a stronger silhouette.
  • Left weapon work for last, which slowed progress.
  • Some parts feel too clean for a bandit.

πŸ›  What I’m Working On Next

  • Pushing the bandit look (clothes, attitude, props).
  • Creating and polishing weapons.
  • Testing the model inside Unity.
  • Creating more bandits after this one.

πŸ“š What I Learned

  • Finishing one complete model is better than starting many.
  • Silhouette and style matter more than small details.
  • Low poly + one texture is still my favorite workflow.
  • Sleep is optional… but probably not recommended.

One bandit is complete. More are coming.
