Recently I've created some melanated pixel-art sprites. I'm almost 50 years old and my motivation for this is that I never saw this type of art growing up. Even now, there aren't too many heroes of color that play leading roles in art (compared to all that is available). There's definitely been significant progress since 1975, lol, but I would like to see a lot more. In the spirit of this, I decided to create my own :-) Now, I have digital art, sticker, t-shirts and mugs available to those who appreciate pixel art and feel as I do when it comes to representation.
