tldr: build an easy game with simple controls, maybe don't even bother with the b button, win a level / reward in the first 30 seconds (or show a new screen?, getting a higher score doesn't count (shmup))
A (complete games, no or few changes necessary)
abyss - actual S tier game, could have gone so many directions, amazing art, some parts were slow if you forgot what to do
devils dance - really well made rhythm game (maybe a but buggy for the hit reg)
mount crymore - very well rounded climbing game
B (complete games, very good gameplay / potential with some changes)
neon nova - this one felt like it was just one or two mechanics before being a superb game. just add coins, jumps, avoiding and maybe some levels / difficulty and it is perfect
longing for life - nice story, very good art (pretty much complete but not really A tier, maybe due to replay value? idk)
ticket check - this one was funny and short, i love the dialog "this is my favorite part"
bunker boy - hilarious that the game with the least amount of graphics had the most interesting gameplay loop, maybe i just like stats/planning a bit too much
sheet split - very good concept but missing the sheep is frustrating, level is way too long, amazing tutorial art
C (complete games but not really fun / sticky / compelling with their gameplay)
good luck baby - could have been great if they kept it simple
slide quest - amazing art but i don't really want to play the slide puzzle part
desertion - fishing rhythm game, very cool concept, but i could tell it would get too hard to continue
potion panic - very nice text flying in, level design ok (small enough)
cosmo command - shmup, nice art, game just ok
project gear - working platformer, not really that fun
mario kart - charming, simple, works, almost a bit too hard
memory loop - complete, remembering 10 numbers would have been to hard
sliding puzzle - very difficult but built in matlab which is cool
fortune & glory - i hate the X accel in GB studio but art is really good
video store - amazing art but i think it was a bit clunky waiting for the story
ormblock - didn't figure this one out, could be good but ran out of patience / no tutorial
labu - tried shooting the guy in lower left and stopped after that, don't like monologue at start
soundrel - probably has potential
rewording - couldn't figure this one out
dropblox - very simple design but a bit difficult
dmg keygen - banger
void stranger - i don't like sokoban but this was a cool way to build the levels
D (too open ended, graphics could be improved)
polar peril - cute setup
mega mall simulator - also cute idea
hearts and heros - zoomer dialog lol
where da jam at? - ok, a bit boring
Luigi's mansion - confused what to do
piranesian - confusing what to do next
bubblewrap - buggy
my game - short, art / graphics not interesting (ranked by popular: 30 / 120, 25th percentile)
jose dreamworld - just ok
yasuke's vacation - i think i got bored of this one
frontrooms - bored
dragon slayer - don't remember much but didn't leave any impact
