Mod updates

There has been considerable confusion surrounding the management of updates on my Itch.io page, which has led to issues with version synchronization. Currently, there is no clear feature that allows for easily updating a mod or indicating when an update has been released. While I’ve made efforts to share update information through dev blogs, they have often been missed or overlooked by users.

I am aware that some of my mods, particularly those used in multiplayer or dedicated server environments, have caused frustration when players are using different versions of the same mod. This discrepancy can prevent proper synchronization, resulting in technical issues.

To resolve this, I will begin including version numbers in the mod titles. For example, “Watkins Weight V1” will be updated to “Watkins Weight V1.1” with each new release. Additionally, I will ensure that the mod description clearly reflects the current version, making it easier for users to verify that they and their friends are using the same version.

Once these changes are implemented on my Itch.io page, I recommend removing all existing versions of my mods and downloading the latest updates. This will ensure that you have the most up-to-date versions of all files in your folders. Furthermore, in response to user feedback, I will be adding a changelog to the bottom of each mod description, detailing any changes or fixes made in the latest update.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Best regards,

Scootz 🐮
