"Street medicine is an inherently defensive action, as it is a direct response to offensive violence by the police. Medics should equip themselves accordingly."

Street medics are trained volunteers at protests who engage in preventative and active healthcare. A new street medic collective is being started by Mercedes Acosta in Tennessee where it is sorely needed, and we are raising funds to dress out our angels with appropriate gear and stock their kits. To this end, we've been graciously provided with some awesome games in this subversively themed bundle. It includes:

  • Misbehavin' by Allie Bustion, an urban fantasy tabletop game set during the Prohition.
  • Home Again by Nell Raban, a magical realism tabletop game about reclaiming lost heritage.
  • Squeakeasy by Caro Asercion, a realist fantasy tabletop about running an underground rodent bar during the 20s in the USA.
  • WHAT HAPPENED? by Mercedes Acosta, a magical realism horror tabletop about finding missing persons.
  • Graffiti Speak by Pidj Sorensen, a discord-based roleplay game about communicating via graffiti and avoiding the cops
  • Oh Maker by Kienna Shaw and Jason Cutrone, a card-based tabletop game about androids confronting their identity and existence
  • Etude of the Evening by Takuma Okada, a tabletop game about reclaiming something you lost, alongside the free game We Made Them Look Like Us by Takuma, which is a solo LARP about transition and gender euphoria.
  • Sanctuaire by Sam Day, a fantastical tabletop game about isolated women in a religious community.

This bundle has a total worth of 69 USD, all for 8.00!

All funds will be used to purchase gear and supplies for action medics and street medics in the newly established collective. This gear includes goggles, gas masks, helmets, and backpacks, as well as general first aid supplies. A goal of $3000 has been calculated with the current gear sets we need to equip twenty medics, prioritizing Black and Indigenous volunteers first. Any left over will be used to fund our first aid supply stock and Knoxville mutual aid efforts.
