"Hey y’all, let me introduce myself, my name is Melisande Atteron, call me Meli! [she/her] I am a trans disabled immigrant, and I need your help. Last summer my wife was laid off from her job and we fell four months behind on our mortgage, we thought we had a modified loan agreed upon with them earlier this year, but due to some major issues on their end it was terminated and we are now facing foreclosure on the 2nd of October, unless we somehow come up with $5300. Our community around us means the world to us, we do a lot of social justice and mutual aid work here with the LGBTQcommunity including some light companion work I do with a young trans woman. We cannot lose this house, it was part of my father’s estate to us and if we lose it we would be heartbroken, it is his legacy to us. If ANYONE can help we would so appreciate it, anything we raise above and beyond our goal should that happen is to be split between making sure we get some of the other overdue bills caught up on and donation to the Persad Center here in Pittsburgh which does amazing work with the transcommunity Thank you for your time!
