Cal had become an instant fan years ago when a friend slipped him a warbly dub of a live show on a cassette. The directions to Ashcan House arrived in a DM, and only after he swore not to bring a phone, or drive. A concentration of bodies would be suspicious; a rash of parked cars would be a giveaway. He was also warned not to look up the address online: no digital trail...
