We're a bunch of pornographers looking to help the Venezuelan people struck by disaster after Twin earthquakes hit a nation whose homes are completely unprepared for the magnitude of them.
More than 5,000 have died, many lost their homes and belongings, are searching for loved ones-- estimations say around 50,000 are missing. This is a "when it rains it pours" situation for a population that's been struggling and doing their best to survive a dictatorship, lack of food, medicine and safety for so long.
On top of that, government officials won't lift a finger to help their people. It's gotten to the point where they block and/or divert aid. So many lives were lost under the rubble when they could have been saved with the necessary equipment that the government could provide. I have no other conclusion than to think they want their own people dead.
We can't leave Venezuela alone at this time of extreme need.
