And are working on creating detailed and immersive alt text for rpg art as well as resources to support creators on making their pdfs and websites accessible for people with visual disabilities!
But the bundle is available completely for free if that is how you wish to acquire it!
The donation goal is set at 1,000 dollars so you can see contributions, our ultimate goal is to spread an awareness and love for the indie, even amateur rpg space, to each and every player regardless of what challenges they face, or how much they can afford!
just giving indie games a chance is thanks enough! On the other hand...
(If you make a full article or video be sure to let us know and we'll try to signal boost it in return!)
We capped submissions at a more modest number than some bundles to make them easier on us to vet them, and on you to browse and play the collection completely if you desire! And theres still enough for years worth of campaign content!
We have mini RPG's of 24 words and full systems over 200 pages!
Games that add an element of skill or dexterity to dice rolling, and ones that forego rolling and focus on irl actions taken in day-to-day life!
Solo games journaling or otherwise, for gm lead groups, and one where a full party of players controls a single character!
Projects to support full campaigns or for one or two sessions of adventure!
A toolkit for accessibility in fate, and ones focused on something expansive as a sprawling skyborne realm, or as small as a way to generate roads on the fly for chase or driving sequences!
Dice and tarot cards and trading cards! Sci-fi and fantasy and historical fiction! Whatever you look for in an rpg you can probably find some of it here!
Many of the featured projects are works in progress and don't have the funding for the level of visual polish you'd find in games headed up by studios or full time designers. But the originality and excitement of creators willing to go against the grain practically leaps off the pages, and all of the projects present have been carefully looked over to ensure that they are worth the time it takes to learn and play or even get a group together. Something that is sometimes overlooked in projects with larger teams, when focus on building hype or chasing trends can distract from well-developed iterative design or a unified vision of expression.
