Help Bring Your Loved One Home: A Heartwarming Bundle for a Hero
Imagine being able to help a loved one recover from a life-changing event, and bring them back home to a safe and comfortable environment. That's exactly what this bundle is all about.
A Personal Story of Love and Resilience
On August 6, 2024, my mom suffered a severe stroke that changed her life forever. As I watched her fight to recover, I realized that she needed more than just medical care - she needed a safe and familiar place to call home. That's why I've put together this bundle, to help raise funds to repair her property and bring her back home.
The Challenge
My mom's house is in disrepair, with a collapsing ceiling, water damage, and no running water. The property is overgrown, and the well is not functioning. But with your help, we can change that. We can create a safe and comfortable environment for my mom to recover and thrive.
The Goal
Our goal is to raise funds to repair my mom's property, so she can come home and continue her recovery in a familiar and loving environment. We believe that with the right support, she can recover up to 80% of her previous physical and mental ability.

---------------------///-UPDATE-\\\---------------------
So, My mom came home, the situation wasnt ideal. Nothing was fixed, or cleaned, or ready for her to be home, but she came home none-the-less. The reason for this was that medicare decided that they had paid for enough physical therapy, despite the fact that the facility wasnt actually working with her, so while she was able to stand and walk directly after the stroke, now she cannot. Anyway, the only way for her to stay at the facility was to get on medicaid. Medicaid and the Rehab/Nursing facility began putting pressure on ME to get my mom to sign over power of attorney to me, so that they could get me to sign over her bank accounts, social security, and basically any other property they could get their hands on, OR ELSE they were going to start BILLING ME $350 PER DAY! So given that she had actually gotten worse since she was in there, and they wanted me to give them everything she owned, my wife and I decided to just bring her home and figure everything else out as we go. So my wife travelled back to Ohio with the Kids for a few weeks while i stayed in North Carolina, I had no choice but to leave my job in Ohio. I've spent all of my time nursing my mom and trying to clean up her house. I havent been able to do any repairs, but there's enough clutter and dirt in this very old house that it's kept me busy enough. Not to mention i ended up getting sick with around 102degree fever, still trying to completely kick it. My wife and Kids came back down for thanksgiving, We're going to be going back to Ohio with my mom until after the holidays, then We'll be moving down to North Carolina to finish cleaning and fixing my mom's house. As of right now, the future is full of uncertainty, any we're all pretty nervous, but we're feeling like we're doing the right thing, it's just going to be challenging at first. Anyway, that's where we are at right now.
