Hum, I have maybe a slight problem, if somebody can shed a light, but, I tried getting Logan to visit my house in bareshade, but he nevers shows up, like not kidding, clicked in and out of the house to see if it triggers, spent 2 weeks in game, nothing, I am not sure if its because everything else for the final part with the swamp werewolves and him showing up at my house in the middle of the night are making it impossible to trigger the event.
Has happened to anyone, or thats just a bug I found?
Yeah, the swamp wolves story makes it impossible to fix. You need to finish the bareshade expansion, see the scene with Logan yelling at Barrel, have at least a 10/12 total strength, and finish country road. To get the country road, you need to save Ste from Victoria, do all of Ste's quests, and then take him to bareshade. To help, after finishing the first werewolves quest, don't continue Logan so you have more time to get that scene.

If you download the new version on Android there are no changes on Mac, Windows and Linux I know they are not lost but the update is a little different
you only lose data if you update from 0.30 or before to the latest. you should still keep your data and be able to continue if you're updating from 0.44.4.

If I remember correctly, you have to complete the "Rat Problem" and "Rats!" quests for Harold/the Bareshade tavernkeeper, which will unlock the tavern's basement for you.
After that, you have to keep exploring the area close to the entrance until you unlock the mine. It's a random event though, so you gotta keep trying

So I misclicked the option for The Nameless event step 5, and as it mentioned that it would be a serious option I tried to go back but as he appears to remember choices beyond save data it will not let me change to my desired option. Is there any easy way to remedy this? Would I need to start the game from scratch?
For future reference, if you have no other saves then just reload that one. But, you have to delete save files. Which I'm not sure how you do. You do this because saves from 0.44 and beyond can be continued and ported to the newest version.
Just got this on my laptop, game loads up fine but the preference tab is completely blank. I was wondering if anyone else have this problem and if they knew a way to fix it.

I think I had some but crafted a potion with it, and dont see any listed on the map or in the crafting list, and the guide just says it's found in "Crafting"

Anyways, I've been playing through as female, and gave Xeroth a love potion, and the scene switched mc's gender to male, although just for the scene.

little late warning though it will delete your current progress as version 0.30 had a major change that included a save wipe because of it changing all the UI.

Great game. I didn't expect much going in, but was pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of content that is present within the game, and while I do think there are some rough edges here and there (there needs to be more in-game direction on where to find as of yet unfound alchemical ingredient types and typos need to be fixed).
As far as the alchemy goes, I had no idea where to get the stuff for werewolf cures for a long while until I realized some of it was gated behind another quest (I think?). Anyway it's quite fun.
I do think the ratkin are a bit of a missed opportunity though. When my character got captured I expected to either be held prisoner for a while and presented with cut scene choices, or, even better, find myself stripped of my gear temporarily while forced to serve the rat men in a number of different quest (with some fun times inbetween of course).
I'd recommend adding some flavor there rather than having the rat king shrug it off and send you away. It's plausible they may not even take you to the rat king at all if they thought they could get away with it. There's too much potential to be had there to leave it as is IMO, and all of it can easily be balanced around play styles (or desires maybe I should say).
Edit: The same is true of the werewolves, which I think should mount some sort of assault on the players home leading to similarly interesting plot points depending on choice, which I haven't seen yet.
Regarding alchemy, when you select a location on the side of the map, its name, enemies, and ingredients that you can find appear, remember many of the stories are made by guest writers, if they do not consider it, hyao will not be able to add anything
IIRC plants and enemies only appear after you find them or fight them, respectively, for the first time, not before. Even then, one of the alchemical ingredients I needed was on the forest path, which only unlocks after defeating the bandits. I simply was not interested in doing their quest for a long while.
I started out with the Lizards, and after their main quest began to focus on the rat men and werewolves simultaneously. So I had a lot of areas unlocked and eventually as the quest piled up I got confused as to where to go next because they started demanding ingredients I didn't have access to yet with no real indication that I recall on where to find them.
A reference guide at the house left by your missing master that hints at or tells you where ingredients are even if you have yet to find them or unlock the area they are in would be a nice touch IMO. It makes sense in-game and avoids being too hand holdy at the same time.
Unexplored areas (some of them not the hidden stuff like the ruins) topside should be marked on the map but not accessible (Lore wise it'd make sense for an alchemical master who travels all over the place to leave behind a fuller map in his house of established regions and pathways). Practically, that'll give players some direction in the future to access the stuff they'd prefer to do first without needing to resort to online guides or quest grinding.
AKA I need X,Y,Z it can be found at B, which is behind the bandit camp. And there you go. You still need to navigate the quest on your own and figure out if B really is the reason you can't access the area.
Regarding the letter that the teacher must leave, he does it at the beginning and communicates with you later, many of the things are unknown when you progress slowly in the game. It is a game that has intersecting stories, that is why it is difficult for you to find certain things or objects. , but it is an extremely excellent game, look at many games, but currently it is the only one on Patreon since the others do not reach me the same as it is or their Patreons are paused, but hey, it is an excellent game, let the creator finish it
Of course it's a good game. That's why I made this account in the first place, specifically so I could come on here and leave feedback. I don't do that for many games, even official titles. This is the only itchio game I've commented on thus far. I also made it a point to say how fun the game was in my initial comment to avoid anyone thinking otherwise.
That said, if the creator is reading comments, which he should be, than feedback, especially useful feedback like my own (I'd like to think anyway), should be taken into account.
The letter of communication left by the teacher that you are referencing does not, as far as I remember, have anything to do with the mechanics I suggested and even if it did, it would come too late to matter.
It is difficult to find things in this game at a certain point because, I would argue, there is not enough direction provided to the player in the game itself. That's why he has a guide linked in the options menu and that's why there are plenty of comments even in here asking for help with certain quest. I'm not asking for quest markers mind you, but rather Morrowind style hints which are more than reasonable and currently do not exist.
None of this makes the game bad nor does it mean the creator isn't already aware of it. He must be if he has that guide to begin with. Yes, it might even be that my feedback is a couple months too late and he's already on it and if so that's fine. I'm just giving him possible ideas to address it in the future if he needs or wants them.
So unless you or someone else would like to talk about my suggestions in-depth, I don't feel it's necessary to elaborate further. I believe the game would wholly benefit from implementing some of the ideas I put forward here in the future, and I believe some of the stories could be greatly expanded if anyone who is responsible has a mind to do it and I see no harm whatsoever in letting that be known to the developers.
When, how or if those things get implemented are solely up to the people responsible for the game and everything I have said has been polite, fair and reasonable, and I'd like to continue providing feedback for this game for the very reason that I enjoyed and enjoy it as much as I do.
That's how you're supposed to contribute to things you love, try and help it grow into something even greater.
So I have a slight problem, for some reason I can't get Gunnar's encounter on the track where he asks me to suck him off. I get the merchant just passing by or asking to trade, but never Gunnar's thing. At first I thought it was because my Brave fame was high and lewdness 0, so I raised my lewdness to 4 (my brave fame is the same), but still no encounter. I am at a loss at this point. Any advice?
Side note: This might be the problem, but I had to reinstall the game on a different device (I don't really care about my saves) so maybe I have to reinstall it?
If that happens to you, it means that you rejected the first time Gunnar offered it to you, which is not repeated, as a consequence certain tasks are interrupted
Is there a way to disable zoophilia scenes? i swear i hate looking for logan's wife every save because i end up having to pay attention to the those scenes to be sure I'm progressing (also, wouldn't be better to remove them? itch.io could probably take the game down for this or something, i love this game so much)
I don't think so but you can turn off the "skip only seen" thing and skip the entire event without having to see it at all. nothing in it is required and when you get the last interaction it has a special thing in the top corner of the screen that tells you that you got the required quest item.
What are you planning to add? Improving the look of the interface.
And one the improvements that I think can be done is on the "Job" screens, 'cuz after we accept or reject a job/quest we are redirected to the questioning screen, which would be ok if the NPC had only one quest offering, but it can get tiresome on NPC with more than one quest (like Bernard, Harold and others)... It would be better, in my opinion, to keep the job/quest screen open after accepting a quest until we decided we chose all the ones we wanted...
Finally, after doing all the new stuff at Bareshade that I missed, I can actually start the new area stuff.. ngl.. when I saw Ratkin's deal in the patch notes; Was hoping it was sex at the bar with ratkins like bartender mentioned..

I'm stuck at 'Northcrest Conspiracy' event. After eavesdropping on Everett and Gunnar, the game tells me to speak to Everett about what I heard. I've done all previous requirements to unlock the conversation, when I go to talk to him, the option doesn't appear. Can anybody tell me how to fix this? I thank you in advance.
I'd probably be able to enjoy the game more if it didn't promote rape culture/non-consensual sex and zoophilia. Like wtf ? I know it's fictional but like ? That's a bummer because the game has a lot of different routes for a renpy game.
I cant speak about rape culture/zoophilia as I cant remember everything and I feel lazy to make a new game to check up on things, but if I am right, there is a significant amount of CONSENT in this game already. (if not a solid 99% of consent I would say)
For instance you dont have to tease the enemies: you could choose the smash and smack route and forget about sex. Then... every time I triggered a potential sex scenenario, Hyao has given us options to select what we want... Of course you have to remember some actions may have long-term effects.
I´ll use the example of Rhot: in my game Rhot became a greedy impulsive lizard but only because I gave him too much freedom in previous situations. That is MY fault, and now this is what I get. Still I am dead serious that there are options to say "Stop!" or a simple "Not this time" so thats alright.
If you had a negative experience with any character in the game, feel free to share it here and talk things. Maybe you havent explored his options/routes :)
Ps: if the enemy is teasing you and want to avoid undesired sex, you´ll have to bring lots of restrain potions with you. Thats the only situation I can think of non-consensual sex.
I think the fact that there are those possibillites (and so many of them) alone make everything fucked up LOL. I have pretty much explored all the routes and of course the red route is nastier but i didn't expect it to be that gross. I've played a lot of seggsual visual novals and this one wins it. Some people have a hard time discerning reality it can potentially lead to dangerous stuff ?? Like just type rape in their discord and see how many people are saying "i'd love to rape X" and fantasize about raping like it's totally normal it's so effed up and triggering to me since i've been sexually assaulted. It's totally worth it since you get new route(s) as a reward, right ?? I've also seen people acknowledge the fact that you can rape (in the game) and be ok with it, telling people to not play the game if they're fragile, huh ? They label people complaining about those issues as Karens and say that's it's ok since it's fictional. Oh well i'm not expecting (priviledged) gay men to be compassionate anyway. The fact that Booner has this description ("his behavior seems to indicate he tends to get jailed because of sex related crimes...") in the official wiki makes me sick to my stomach as if it was something exciting and hot ?? Yay yet another character (probably the 87987th) in the game that rapes and fucks people without consent omg i came like 50 times just thinking about it. Supporting/promoting rape culture is so cute uwu
As another person who has been SA countless times before and actually abused for years - and the person roams free on the streets - I can say that I get your point. I truly do. But the thing is, I'm yet to find a sex focused game that has not even a moment of non consensual stuff.
Just like in the real world, these things happens in games that focuses on sex.
I have to say that this game is actually pretty tame in comparison with others that I've seen before, and all the non consensual part being avoidable is a huge step. It can be avoided, and sometimes you even forget that this option exists while playing and beating up the crap out of enemies. Really. Not to mention that said enemies can also be avoided by scaping method. Literally running away. Personally I like beating them up - what includes leveling up faster, and sometimes using cheat cookies - since that gives me satisfaction. Truly.
Also, I enjoy well-constructed worlds and plots, what this game happens to have. And I'm not saying it to hurt you or anything, but I don't think there's a porn game without even the slightest mention on noncon stuff. The closest you may get it'll be the green route on this game, and perhaps the vanilla route on Degrees of Lewdity (that also has amazing world construction and characters, even if the general plor gets tricky to find).
And about people not being able to discern things... unfortunately it's not like they'll change. The heavy amount of sex games that not only enable this behavior, but also encourages is disturbing. I honestly have no hope on people changing on this aspects, but that's exactly why I like beating enemies like them in games.

(There's something that makes me grinn when I play DL that when we're walking around the town two figures pops up and they be like "So you're the one kicking rapists asses, right?" and the player goes all proud like "that's me alright". I love it.)
It's titled "Lustful Desires". I think it was intended to cover the majority of people's fetishes and whatnot, whether it be mild or extreme. And I'm pretty sure the developer didn't intend this to propagate taboo sex stuff. Just trying to appeal to people's pleasures.
So... yeah. I still and would still enjoy this game even the developer decides to put in necrophilia or... whatever over-the-top/wierd kink stuff people enjoy. The suspense of where the story is taking us is more than enough to ignore those not-for-me/distasteful details. But that's for me, in my opinion.
After the last update I saw some people talking about mc performance and that he should be able to do more to maybe save Gunnar and I agree, but one thing that I didn’t see anyone talking about was Tank and his participation, to me it seems very unbalanced like he is supposed to be a very strong and capable “soldier” and should be able to do more then just be following and doing nothing, I think if you guys plan to extend this part of the story to maybe give us a chance to save Gunnar, maybe you guys could make Tank more involved in the whole thing to make him more important to the story.

I think the most I got from all my saves and routes were two, the meeting room and storage room. Is it possible to upgrade a third time (the herbalist's table)?

Poor Bernie needs the rooms more than us, but still... Going in and out the city every single time isn't really and easy job for the Herbalist (when it's not night and we have to wait for the next day), and it'd be so fun to just brew some potions while Bernard's like, admiring us or something - that would be so like him
oh. oh my god I need that now. just Bernard doing his work but it's going slow and we're just making potions and he just stares all lovey dovey causing us to ask "something up?" or idk and he's just still quiet because he's admiring us and only realizes we noticed after a minute and gets hella embarrassed or something cute like that.
I was thinking of something like, we open the table, use it, and the moment we close it pops up a text saying like:

You've noticed while working that Bernard's attention has been on you. For a while now. He's been quiet and is working slower than usual, just to watch you. Admiring you, openly so. Once every few seconds he shifts his whole attention to what you're doing, probably thinking you'd never notice.
Now, depending on your intimacy level:
"What?" You ask the shopkeeper.
"What, what?" Bernard smiles looking at you.
"You're staring."
1st: "It's just fascinating to watch an Herbalist work, I guess. Just a bunch of ingredients and boom, a potion. I could never, I'm sure of it. You just makes it look so easy. I know I'd make mess after mess." He's pats your back affectionately. "Glad to know we're in your very capable hands."
You smile, finishing up what you were doing, and gives Bernard a hug.

Then we leave, finishing this interaction.
2nd: "I am admiring you work. Do you have a problem with that [name]?"
"Nope." You smile. "Not at all."
Finishing what you're doing, you turn, getting close to the shopkeeper. He smiles more openly, hugging your waist, resting his forehead in yours. Your hands on his chest.
"I'm glad you're visiting me so often, even if it's just to work. I get to spend more time with you, and I can admire you brewing your potions. Never seize to amaze me watch you doing it, looks so easy. Not that I could ever do it."
"Dunno, I never had an apprentice before." You joke, earning a smirk. "Also never heard of an apprentice having other apprentice. Want to try?"
"No, thanks." He laughs. "My hands could never work on something so delicate." He pauses. "Well, aside from you, maybe..."
"Oh, Bernie..."
A tender kiss followed, showing how much the appreciated you and your presence. The pure joy on his smile after the kiss made you smile as well. You'd never get tired of kissing this man.
"Now I have to go back to work. Come visit more often."
"For you to admire me working?" You tease.

Nameless event is one-time-only event, you cannot undone what you choose even you start to play again. But if you have keep your old "persistent file" before you choose a nameless's choice, you can undone what you choose.

I recently found out that I still haven't done the "I owe you a beer" quest, and the problem is that when I get back to my house in the village (yes I've done all the necessary activities) the event does not trigger. At the story level I had already finished the main quest with werewolves and logan is not a botom.

You need to travel to the bar if you've already completed the bandit quest line. It's a scene that will happen before you actually get to the bar. For extra chances, go to Jester and see if the bandits are doing poorly. I find this increases the chances of it happening or it could be I just have luck
You can pay them 50 gold through Jester, which you can do once per day. If you failed to defeat Scar, you need to do the "A Bitch for Thugs" quest by Jester -who will give it once in a while. I don't know about the "if you defeat scar" route if that option is available.
I haven't enslaved Tao. But if you don't see the option "Journey to the island" if you can interact with him, you might need to load a save or start a new game to met him.
First, you need to get to the River's Bank -either pay the troll, mate with the troll, or go through the cave. Then, you need to take a break there, where you can ask Gunnar about it. I don't think his likes matter for that question since I got it at 40ish.
Sharing some myth, do you know if you remove all the items you armed specially your clothes there's a new messages and reaction to each places you go being naked.🙊🙉🙈

Wow. Hyao promised a lore dump and he delivered. This update was really great. I got some goosebumps while reading the diaries left around the Blakemore manor.
The conclusion of the event has left me thirsty for more as it ended on a (according to my oppinion) well chose cliffhanger. I wasn't too much of a fan of Gunnar and don't feel like acting submissive just to gain his approval but I respect him for standing by his convictions and his great loyalty. Also Nameless' warning finally seems to make sense. I always thought that either Jester or Gunnar would end up betraying Scar. I haven't seen anyone mention it but judging by the diary in Jester's room and his appearance before Gunnar it seems like he's responsible for the shapeshifters or at the very least partially responsible for setting them loose? Although it's been hinted at that lady Tess is aware something is going on with the Blakemore's. I'm really digging this conspiracy plot among the nobles and that cult in Mythshore.
To summarize an unexpectadly long rant I really liked this update and can barely wait for more! (If Hyao reads this do not take this as an attempt of me to rush things. Take the time you need to deliver such quality content. This game is great.)
I kind of feel like the shapeshifters are possessing people and turning them into their hosts. The writings in jester's room sounded like his mind was starting to break down like that other guy's. Like the voices were eating their way into his head without him understanding what was happening.

To get the country road, you need to save Ste from Victoria, do all of Ste's quests, and then take him to bareshade. To help, after finishing the first werewolves quest, don't continue Logan so you have more time to get that scene.

you only lose data if you update from 0.30 or before to the latest. you should still keep your data and be able to continue if you're updating from 0.44.4.

If I remember correctly, you have to complete the "Rat Problem" and "Rats!" quests for Harold/the Bareshade tavernkeeper, which will unlock the tavern's basement for you.
After that, you have to keep exploring the area close to the entrance until you unlock the mine. It's a random event though, so you gotta keep trying

Question about The Nameless *SPOILERS*
So I misclicked the option for The Nameless event step 5, and as it mentioned that it would be a serious option I tried to go back but as he appears to remember choices beyond save data it will not let me change to my desired option. Is there any easy way to remedy this? Would I need to start the game from scratch?
For future reference, if you have no other saves then just reload that one. But, you have to delete save files. Which I'm not sure how you do. You do this because saves from 0.44 and beyond can be continued and ported to the newest version.

I think I had some but crafted a potion with it, and dont see any listed on the map or in the crafting list, and the guide just says it's found in "Crafting"

little late warning though it will delete your current progress as version 0.30 had a major change that included a save wipe because of it changing all the UI.

Great game. I didn't expect much going in, but was pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of content that is present within the game, and while I do think there are some rough edges here and there (there needs to be more in-game direction on where to find as of yet unfound alchemical ingredient types and typos need to be fixed).
As far as the alchemy goes, I had no idea where to get the stuff for werewolf cures for a long while until I realized some of it was gated behind another quest (I think?). Anyway it's quite fun.
I do think the ratkin are a bit of a missed opportunity though. When my character got captured I expected to either be held prisoner for a while and presented with cut scene choices, or, even better, find myself stripped of my gear temporarily while forced to serve the rat men in a number of different quest (with some fun times inbetween of course).
I'd recommend adding some flavor there rather than having the rat king shrug it off and send you away. It's plausible they may not even take you to the rat king at all if they thought they could get away with it. There's too much potential to be had there to leave it as is IMO, and all of it can easily be balanced around play styles (or desires maybe I should say).
Edit: The same is true of the werewolves, which I think should mount some sort of assault on the players home leading to similarly interesting plot points depending on choice, which I haven't seen yet.
Regarding alchemy, when you select a location on the side of the map, its name, enemies, and ingredients that you can find appear, remember many of the stories are made by guest writers, if they do not consider it, hyao will not be able to add anything
IIRC plants and enemies only appear after you find them or fight them, respectively, for the first time, not before. Even then, one of the alchemical ingredients I needed was on the forest path, which only unlocks after defeating the bandits. I simply was not interested in doing their quest for a long while.
I started out with the Lizards, and after their main quest began to focus on the rat men and werewolves simultaneously. So I had a lot of areas unlocked and eventually as the quest piled up I got confused as to where to go next because they started demanding ingredients I didn't have access to yet with no real indication that I recall on where to find them.
A reference guide at the house left by your missing master that hints at or tells you where ingredients are even if you have yet to find them or unlock the area they are in would be a nice touch IMO. It makes sense in-game and avoids being too hand holdy at the same time.
Unexplored areas (some of them not the hidden stuff like the ruins) topside should be marked on the map but not accessible (Lore wise it'd make sense for an alchemical master who travels all over the place to leave behind a fuller map in his house of established regions and pathways). Practically, that'll give players some direction in the future to access the stuff they'd prefer to do first without needing to resort to online guides or quest grinding.
AKA I need X,Y,Z it can be found at B, which is behind the bandit camp. And there you go. You still need to navigate the quest on your own and figure out if B really is the reason you can't access the area.
Regarding the letter that the teacher must leave, he does it at the beginning and communicates with you later, many of the things are unknown when you progress slowly in the game. It is a game that has intersecting stories, that is why it is difficult for you to find certain things or objects. , but it is an extremely excellent game, look at many games, but currently it is the only one on Patreon since the others do not reach me the same as it is or their Patreons are paused, but hey, it is an excellent game, let the creator finish it
Of course it's a good game. That's why I made this account in the first place, specifically so I could come on here and leave feedback. I don't do that for many games, even official titles. This is the only itchio game I've commented on thus far. I also made it a point to say how fun the game was in my initial comment to avoid anyone thinking otherwise.
That said, if the creator is reading comments, which he should be, than feedback, especially useful feedback like my own (I'd like to think anyway), should be taken into account.
The letter of communication left by the teacher that you are referencing does not, as far as I remember, have anything to do with the mechanics I suggested and even if it did, it would come too late to matter.
It is difficult to find things in this game at a certain point because, I would argue, there is not enough direction provided to the player in the game itself. That's why he has a guide linked in the options menu and that's why there are plenty of comments even in here asking for help with certain quest. I'm not asking for quest markers mind you, but rather Morrowind style hints which are more than reasonable and currently do not exist.
None of this makes the game bad nor does it mean the creator isn't already aware of it. He must be if he has that guide to begin with. Yes, it might even be that my feedback is a couple months too late and he's already on it and if so that's fine. I'm just giving him possible ideas to address it in the future if he needs or wants them.
So unless you or someone else would like to talk about my suggestions in-depth, I don't feel it's necessary to elaborate further. I believe the game would wholly benefit from implementing some of the ideas I put forward here in the future, and I believe some of the stories could be greatly expanded if anyone who is responsible has a mind to do it and I see no harm whatsoever in letting that be known to the developers.
When, how or if those things get implemented are solely up to the people responsible for the game and everything I have said has been polite, fair and reasonable, and I'd like to continue providing feedback for this game for the very reason that I enjoyed and enjoy it as much as I do.
That's how you're supposed to contribute to things you love, try and help it grow into something even greater.
So I have a slight problem, for some reason I can't get Gunnar's encounter on the track where he asks me to suck him off. I get the merchant just passing by or asking to trade, but never Gunnar's thing. At first I thought it was because my Brave fame was high and lewdness 0, so I raised my lewdness to 4 (my brave fame is the same), but still no encounter. I am at a loss at this point. Any advice?
Side note: This might be the problem, but I had to reinstall the game on a different device (I don't really care about my saves) so maybe I have to reinstall it?
If that happens to you, it means that you rejected the first time Gunnar offered it to you, which is not repeated, as a consequence certain tasks are interrupted
I never rejected him, he just quite literally never showed up as an encounter. Either way, it got fixed when I reached a higher lewd level.

I don't think so but you can turn off the "skip only seen" thing and skip the entire event without having to see it at all. nothing in it is required and when you get the last interaction it has a special thing in the top corner of the screen that tells you that you got the required quest item.
One thing I've been think of is about this:
Improving the look of the interface.
And one the improvements that I think can be done is on the "Job" screens, 'cuz after we accept or reject a job/quest we are redirected to the questioning screen, which would be ok if the NPC had only one quest offering, but it can get tiresome on NPC with more than one quest (like Bernard, Harold and others)... It would be better, in my opinion, to keep the job/quest screen open after accepting a quest until we decided we chose all the ones we wanted...
Finally, after doing all the new stuff at Bareshade that I missed, I can actually start the new area stuff.. ngl.. when I saw Ratkin's deal in the patch notes; Was hoping it was sex at the bar with ratkins like bartender mentioned..

I'm stuck at 'Northcrest Conspiracy' event. After eavesdropping on Everett and Gunnar, the game tells me to speak to Everett about what I heard. I've done all previous requirements to unlock the conversation, when I go to talk to him, the option doesn't appear. Can anybody tell me how to fix this? I thank you in advance.

I'd probably be able to enjoy the game more if it didn't promote rape culture/non-consensual sex and zoophilia. Like wtf ? I know it's fictional but like ? That's a bummer because the game has a lot of different routes for a renpy game.
I cant speak about rape culture/zoophilia as I cant remember everything and I feel lazy to make a new game to check up on things, but if I am right, there is a significant amount of CONSENT in this game already. (if not a solid 99% of consent I would say)
For instance you dont have to tease the enemies: you could choose the smash and smack route and forget about sex. Then... every time I triggered a potential sex scenenario, Hyao has given us options to select what we want... Of course you have to remember some actions may have long-term effects.
I´ll use the example of Rhot: in my game Rhot became a greedy impulsive lizard but only because I gave him too much freedom in previous situations. That is MY fault, and now this is what I get. Still I am dead serious that there are options to say "Stop!" or a simple "Not this time" so thats alright.
If you had a negative experience with any character in the game, feel free to share it here and talk things. Maybe you havent explored his options/routes :)
Ps: if the enemy is teasing you and want to avoid undesired sex, you´ll have to bring lots of restrain potions with you. Thats the only situation I can think of non-consensual sex.

As another person who has been SA countless times before and actually abused for years - and the person roams free on the streets - I can say that I get your point. I truly do. But the thing is, I'm yet to find a sex focused game that has not even a moment of non consensual stuff.
Just like in the real world, these things happens in games that focuses on sex.
I have to say that this game is actually pretty tame in comparison with others that I've seen before, and all the non consensual part being avoidable is a huge step. It can be avoided, and sometimes you even forget that this option exists while playing and beating up the crap out of enemies. Really. Not to mention that said enemies can also be avoided by scaping method. Literally running away. Personally I like beating them up - what includes leveling up faster, and sometimes using cheat cookies - since that gives me satisfaction. Truly.
Also, I enjoy well-constructed worlds and plots, what this game happens to have. And I'm not saying it to hurt you or anything, but I don't think there's a porn game without even the slightest mention on noncon stuff. The closest you may get it'll be the green route on this game, and perhaps the vanilla route on Degrees of Lewdity (that also has amazing world construction and characters, even if the general plor gets tricky to find).
And about people not being able to discern things... unfortunately it's not like they'll change. The heavy amount of sex games that not only enable this behavior, but also encourages is disturbing. I honestly have no hope on people changing on this aspects, but that's exactly why I like beating enemies like them in games.

What is this about the Discord tho?
It's titled "Lustful Desires". I think it was intended to cover the majority of people's fetishes and whatnot, whether it be mild or extreme. And I'm pretty sure the developer didn't intend this to propagate taboo sex stuff. Just trying to appeal to people's pleasures.
So... yeah. I still and would still enjoy this game even the developer decides to put in necrophilia or... whatever over-the-top/wierd kink stuff people enjoy. The suspense of where the story is taking us is more than enough to ignore those not-for-me/distasteful details. But that's for me, in my opinion.

After the last update I saw some people talking about mc performance and that he should be able to do more to maybe save Gunnar and I agree, but one thing that I didn’t see anyone talking about was Tank and his participation, to me it seems very unbalanced like he is supposed to be a very strong and capable “soldier” and should be able to do more then just be following and doing nothing, I think if you guys plan to extend this part of the story to maybe give us a chance to save Gunnar, maybe you guys could make Tank more involved in the whole thing to make him more important to the story.

I recently found out that I still haven't done the "I owe you a beer" quest, and the problem is that when I get back to my house in the village (yes I've done all the necessary activities) the event does not trigger. At the story level I had already finished the main quest with werewolves and logan is not a botom.

You need to travel to the bar if you've already completed the bandit quest line. It's a scene that will happen before you actually get to the bar. For extra chances, go to Jester and see if the bandits are doing poorly. I find this increases the chances of it happening or it could be I just have luck

You can pay them 50 gold through Jester, which you can do once per day. If you failed to defeat Scar, you need to do the "A Bitch for Thugs" quest by Jester -who will give it once in a while. I don't know about the "if you defeat scar" route if that option is available.

Grahm is in the Adventurer's Guild. You need to free Tao from the Rat King in order to get to the island where the Adventurer's Guild is located.

I haven't enslaved Tao. But if you don't see the option "Journey to the island" if you can interact with him, you might need to load a save or start a new game to met him.
How do I "Ask if he is satisfied with your skill" to Gunnar? I have his like at 70 atm.
First, you need to get to the River's Bank -either pay the troll, mate with the troll, or go through the cave. Then, you need to take a break there, where you can ask Gunnar about it. I don't think his likes matter for that question since I got it at 40ish.

there are interactions if your naked in places. Bareshade has characters react, in Northcrest you just get arrested lmao.

Wow. Hyao promised a lore dump and he delivered. This update was really great. I got some goosebumps while reading the diaries left around the Blakemore manor.
The conclusion of the event has left me thirsty for more as it ended on a (according to my oppinion) well chose cliffhanger. I wasn't too much of a fan of Gunnar and don't feel like acting submissive just to gain his approval but I respect him for standing by his convictions and his great loyalty. Also Nameless' warning finally seems to make sense. I always thought that either Jester or Gunnar would end up betraying Scar. I haven't seen anyone mention it but judging by the diary in Jester's room and his appearance before Gunnar it seems like he's responsible for the shapeshifters or at the very least partially responsible for setting them loose? Although it's been hinted at that lady Tess is aware something is going on with the Blakemore's. I'm really digging this conspiracy plot among the nobles and that cult in Mythshore.
To summarize an unexpectadly long rant I really liked this update and can barely wait for more! (If Hyao reads this do not take this as an attempt of me to rush things. Take the time you need to deliver such quality content. This game is great.)
I kind of feel like the shapeshifters are possessing people and turning them into their hosts. The writings in jester's room sounded like his mind was starting to break down like that other guy's. Like the voices were eating their way into his head without him understanding what was happening.

There's one as a reward for a quest from the day witch in the dark swamp.
There's one you can find simply by exploring the swamp or dark swamp.
