Hey I'd love to see the full version really weird and wacky game you've made here lol. Memes aside I did have a little trouble getting the light to turn on at one point but it worked after a few tries. Here's my playthrough with some other short indie games -

maybe "the kid" and the kid we play as are two different people, i have a feeling that "the kid" is garfield and the one that jon tried to summon. also, when jon says the sky he made i think he refers to garfield.
Ah, and I forgot about that "the kid" bit. In 1105.txt is written: "
THE LAST THING "THE KID" REMEMBERS IS LOOKING UP AT THE SKY
[...]
"THE KID" ONLY SAW ONE HOUSE AND FOUND HIM WAITING OUTSIDE
", which practically describes the start of the game ; after looking at the sky we see the house and see garfield outside, waiting. So it's very possible that "The Kid" is the player and yeah, it is indeed most definitely garfield jon refers to about the sky he made.
And about the kid, without the quotes signs, it was probably him who made all those drawings in that "secret" cage. The only thing, that bothers me about this theory, is that in 1101.txt is written: "
I WOKE UP AND FOUND THE KID IN THE BASEMENT
KEEPING "THE KID" IN A CAGE FOR NOW
", so in the first sentence jon refers to the kid, and suddenly he speaks of "The Kid", aka the player, which doesn't make a lot of sense. Maybe we as player actually were kept in that cage for some time before the start of the game (prefigurative), but then we somehow forgot everything and ended up outside staring at the sky.
What do you think?
P.S you got some interesting commentarry history xd
P.P.S Did you find that strange CD, that lies under the tree nearest to the garage after we try to open it? If so, did you find any kind of cd-player in the game? I tried interacting with the TV, but it doesn't work.
P.P.P.S About that strange CD... there probably is no cd-player in the game, but if you complete the game with that cd picked up, you'll see some kind of cypher in the ending. I've attached it to this reply. I can't exactly tell which letters are which, but I hope I can find out more!
when you go near the stop sign, a weird buzzing sound plays. I-S6S!gq2?2-mondays is what i think it says. also, there was something that might have happened because i interacted with the tv, (when i grabbed the cd) but i cant be sure. what happened was the tv screen turned blue a while after all the sigils were painted over. P.S i regret my commentary history. P.P.S i 99% agree with you on "the kid" being in the cage. P.P.P.S we should refer to the kid we play as as lyman and the garfield/ other kid as just garfield.

This game made lasagna ooze from my pores and caused my hair to grey. As a lover of animals, I learned there are some things you mustn't do for a cat, even if it's simply helping it get back inside its house! You may never find a way back out once he traps you inside...I hate Mondays....
I HAD A GREAT TIME WITH THIS GAME!!! The atmosphere was so eerie that I freaked out every time I walked around the house!! Also Garfield got me really good!! That devious cat!!! Looks solid. Probably the cat looks too much like Garfield and that could be a problem unless you've got permission to use/profit from that IP. You're taking a risk. Changing the light bulb in a dark room probably took me more time than necessary. :P I mean, putting a light switch would have skipped some frustration - and with no extra code - it felt like it was done on purpose ;)
Loved the game! The hiding part was a bit tricky for the right timing but other than that it was extremely interesting to play! I'm really looking forward to the full game, can't wait :)
Me encanta este juego. Es increible la calidad de cinta VHS, la cual genera una sensación de extrañeza e incertidumbre. Lo que si me gustaría que añadan son nuevas actualizaciones, pues el juego en si es bastante corto. Espero con ansias esa nueva versión para navidad :)

Been A While Since I Played A Game That Racked My Nerves Like This Lol! This Game Had Insane Tension And Its Just The Demo? I Don't Know If I Can Bring Myself To Play The Full Game Lol. All And All This Game Was The Perfect Lvl Of Gameplay And horror And Was Especially Scary For Me I don't Know If It This Kind Of Artstyle Or What But Stuff Like This Always Scares Me But This Gets A 9/10 From Me Man Cant Wait To See What You Do Next! ~Wang
