A mechanic where some dogs get nervous and you have to stop and pet them until they calm down would be cute.
Also, I know I'm not the first one to say this, but more dog breeds. Maybe a little chihuahua that yaps at you? A husky that takes forever to dry and yowls at you like the world is ending. A nearly bald Greyhound that doesn't need to be brushed. A Boxer with jowls that flap with the blowdryer.
