I CAN'T. THE DIOLOGUE, THE HUMOR- IT'S SO GOOD! ヽ(o＾▽＾o)ノ My favorite character has to be between Robin and Vivian, they both have my heart (人´∀｀) Yes, I was able to unlock the post-credits scene! I do wish to see more of Coco, even though he is EVERYWHERE. (￣ω￣) Lastly, I would like to tell you to take your time! Nonetheless I enjoyed the game! ( ´ ω ` )

I just played Robin's route and this is the CUTEST thing EVER. Oh my god. I literally can not wait for the other 2 routes, this was so nice and wholesome! <3
Re playing it again before the school vacation ends lol, I noticed there's a one bug. So the scene is when they were talking about marketing plan in park and Mc want to help so she ask when will they need it. I think the dialogue that Robin should say is, "it'll be nice if we could get it this week." or something like that.

• I cant choose xD I like all of them <3 but for now I'll choose Robin, I keep smiling that makes my jaw hurt while doing his route. I love how he look cute when he's flustered and shy >///< I also like how supportive and sweet he is towards to Mc. Dont forget his POV too! As for Nico, I also like him haha he was tsun tsun how cute >///< Oh and there's also Vivian hehe. I even accidentally got in his route because he's affection rate is much higher than Robin at my first try lol.

• I'm actually not sure if I got it, but if its the end scene where they were bidding, then I do manage to unlock it.

• Hoho, I like the scene where Robin used the Coco dolls to make the cute kid stop crying. It was adorable <3 In his route, I also love how he comfort Mc by hugging her before he confess and so those lovey dovey scenes. There is also time when he tried to get the matching Coco chains for Mc in gatcha machine, additional for that is the scene where Robin praised Maya for coming up with the commercial idea.
There is also a scene when Nico putting make up to Mc, I love tsundere, like during their first encounter. He even willing to use the extra tiny defected totes cuz' Mc doesn't grab one. I like to see his blush lmao. I also found it quite fun during his extra in Robin's route lol
I also like Vivian! I love how he grin during the delivery scene with a sound effect too xD although its weird to see a art gallary(?) with bunch of hotdog or idunno xD
The one I laughed the most is during Altair's guest appearance. Its during the time when Faye send a message to the number in calling card lolol

• Ohh, I do love to see more about Miles, Jun and Faye~ It would also be good if we could glance about the little bro of Mc :'3

• Domo arigatou~ I really do enjoy it. tbh, I was restricting myself from playing this when I download it and wait for more updates but I cant help but play it. The charm is too strong >3< I love the art, it was well drawn, like whaaa?! how kawaii >3< . I also like how you could see the affection rates of each potential partners. Coco design is cute too, especially those stickers. Uwaa <3 I also keep listening about the BGM. It was cute and entertaining.
I cant wait to see Nico and Vivian's routes soon <3 im rooting for you guys. It was a wonderful game
p.s. Can you get both Nico and Vivian's achivement no.1 in the current version or you have to wait for their route to be release before you unlock that?

Hello devs! I wanted to thank you for making such a gem of a game <3 Playing through it made me realize I don't just *like* romcom otomes, but I *love* them! I had so many emotions finishing Robin's routes that I had to step back so I don't just word dump, but here it goes!
The writing was incredibly witty and realistic all throughout, and I love that you can really build the character that Maya is because not all choices contribute to the affection meter. (Might have to use some of those manifestations myself!) You made all the characters have fun and unique personalities that fit the bright and bubbly world of Heart a la Mode! Even the side characters shine, which is a testament to how much thought went into them. There were instances where I straight up lol-ed cause the humor is so fun <3 Also the POV switches? Beautiful, amazing. I love it when otome games do it, and your game really made the switches so fun and sweet to read through.
The art is so wonderful as well! It's light, soft, and delivers the pastel vibes of the world so, so well. The BGs fit so nicely (s/o to the bedroom, cause I just love imagining the player coming home to a literal Coco shrine HAHAH) The GUI delivers the vibes well, and everything is just bathed in pink that it really drives home the cute romcom vibes to the max. Also Coco. No words - just Coco. The details in the stickers, the plushies, and everything Coco is so *chef's kiss* I, too, would be obsessed if they were an actual irl mascot.
It was also lovely to read the developer's notes! I could see that there was a lot of love put into the game and that you guys had fun with it, and I just love how that all shines through with the game. I eagerly look forward to the full release and playing through Nico and Vivian's routes soon! Thank you for sharing this game <3

[Contains some spoilers] Nico is definitely my favorite (just going with the flow of choices that felt right on my first tries, I ended up with a whole 42 affection points for him lol), but I really love Robin and Vivian too. I'm a huge fan of otome games, and this is absolutely the best one I've ever played. It's probably because it aligns with all of my personal tastes (I really really love the soft and cutesy aesthetics, and all of the love interests are also very much to my liking lol) as well as being personally relatable (I too love cute mascot characters, though I'm not nearly as devoted as Maya and Robin... I'm also someone who loves writing but is really insecure about it). I enjoyed the whole thing so very much!! As far as my favorite parts... I was swooning when Nico did Maya's makeup (as someone who doesn't know shit about makeup, having someone do my makeup really nicely is a dream). I also almost cried when Robin hugged Maya (I was cheering too! I loved the whole scene!), though his bleeped-out cursing immediately after made me laugh so hard I legitimately almost fell on the floor and had to catch my breath for a minute. I "aww"'d aloud so often during the whole game. I'm really curious about Altair, and I think it'd be fun if he showed up again sometime (to get some jealous love interest fanservice or as a cool friend or something... I think it'd be hilarious for him to get in a Battle of the Prettyboys versus Nico since they're both so gorgeous, and I'm sure that our darling Nico could rip him to shreds<3). I can't thank you enough for this game! I've had numerous awful little inconveniences piling up recently, so I was feeling pretty shitty earlier today, and worrying a lot about my birthday (it's few days but things aren't looking so good). I'm really so glad that I found this game and played it! It lifted my spirits so much. I actually burst into tears at the end of Robin's route (lucky me, I got the best end on my first try!) just because I felt so happy and de-stressed (I definitely needed a good cry). I feel so deeply fulfilled! Another detail I really liked was Maya's daily affirmations. It felt a little silly at first, but even if it is, it's also really nice too? I wanna start doing that now!!! I can't wait to play the other routes too (I feel like this is gonna be a huge comfort game for me) whenever they release. Thank you so much for this absolutely wonderful experience! I would also sell my soul for some Coco merch; he's the cutest!

bro this games so good. man all of the characters are so likeable, and you just want to play more of the game at all times. this is one of the first otome games ive ever played so im very impressed. the art is really nice as well! i also really like how they give multiple options for how you want to respond to others. it adds some personality to the usually naive and bland mc. honestly this game has made my day. i am now going to wait for a new route because i am desperate for more content. i definitely recommend this game for whenever you're bored or just want to feel all happy n shi. good luck with the rest of the game!

this game was WAY too cute ( ´ ▽ ` ).｡ｏ♡ it's probably the only visual novel i can bring myself to finish lololol and it was super entertaining throughout. i love how it's straight to the point instead of giving a bunch of useless, boring dialogue before we actually get to the good part (btw the whole game was "the good part" so no complaints there). the art is adorable and i think the whole "texting" idea with all the coco stickers was really creative too! i also didn't really expect multiple endings for one character since this was made for a game jam and i'm guessing you didn't have that much time to make the whole thing, but i was pleasantly surprised either way. overall this is definitely a fun game to pass time with and i'm super excited for its future (especially vivian's route hehe) :D hoping to see more of miles too in nico's route!
(spoilers) if i were to be nitpicky though, i'd suggest giving subtle hints that maya was the one who outbid robin in that coco auction (maybe we have a short scene or conversation of her talking to faye about finally getting that limited edition plushie or something) or else that ending seems a bit random and "forced" in there just for comedic value, instead of actually being canon (?). some of the anatomy and perspectives also seem a bit off in some scenes (side profiles, the cg of the little girl at the start, the cg when we meet vivian in the mall, also the part right after robin hugs us and his sprite looks kinda blurry/low resolution) but it's understandable! i don't expect the artwork to be perfect and it's better than a LOT of other small visual novel games for sure (especially cause this was made in a relatively short period of time), but just something to be aware of in the future! it actually makes me feel kinda nostalgic and reminds me of old otome games i played when i was younger so it's not necessarily a bad thing. i could go into more detail but this comment is really long and i'm not here to give an art lesson lolol but either way the overall style and vibe of the entire game is super cute and i can't wait to go through new dialogue and endings next time! This game is seriously so!! adorable!! I wasn't planning to play it until all of the routes were released, but I just couldn't resist. Take your time with the other routes <3 EDITED TO ADD SOME RANDOM AFTERTHOUGHTS - the bad endings made me sad :( they were too realistic!! I'm so glad I got the best ending on my first try because it would've hurt a lot to get one of the bad endings first! - friendship ending :))) I love Faye so much - Nico's "extra scene" has me curious now. I wonder if he made a dating profile to seriously look for love, or if he did it to mess with people. My initial thought was that it was to mess with people since he made sly comments to Faye, but seeing his profile makes it seem serious haha. I'm anticipating his route too much - Vivian's extra scene(s) were also nice to see. At first, I didn't know how much I'd like him, but he's really cute n just trying his best! I also like his dynamic with Maya so that's that. - Learning that Vivian and Robin are siblings honestly made my heart warm up. I wish to see interactions between the two. It's kind of sad that Vivian doesn't feel like he can open up to Robin though :') - Last but not least, I'm jumping the gun and calling that Miles is Vivian's roommate. After seeing what his personality was like, and the fact that he unironically went to a flat earth conference, I think it's possible. I might be wrong, but it's just a guess after all!

The cuteness and all those details were what got me to try this game, and those things are absolutely great. I also love that MC is both an adult with a job AND a geek who visits conventions!
I read shibalist's comment (a few comments below) and absolutely agree with their first two points. Idk if it's just me, but I actually don't read the names shown above the speech box in VNs, since it's usually clear who speaks, so it threw me off a lot that I had to start checking after instinctively already reading the speech box itself. Maybe there's a middle ground solution, like putting a greyish filter on MC when she's not talking, or making her portrait smaller, or something like that. Just a thought, it would certainly help me!
Anyway, I'm suuuper interested in Vivian, so I'll definitely check out this game again later and hopefully get to play his route! And I love the art a lot!

Our intention was to show the MC's reactions to the other characters' dialogue (her face changes according to what they say), which is why we didn't choose to hide her face! However, we definitely do see where you're coming from and will look into solutions for future instalments- we're considering a function that allows players to hide/ show her reactions!

this is so cute and charming! aaaaa! genuinely heartwarming too! there's a lot of content, the art is wonderful and i love how it is written. thank you for all your hard work!
Good lord this game was so cute - the art direction, Coco stickers, backgrounds, and character expressions all sold this as a heartwarming and adorably lighthearted story. (AND THEIR GODDAMN ROOMS.) I also just really enjoyed all of the random conversations with friends and other LIs interspersed throughout the route; it felt really natural and fluffy.
There were some things I noticed about the UI that could be polished, though, and I wanted to list them in case you guys needed feedback for future versions!
Whenever dialogue shows up, MC's portrait will show up even if the speaker is someone else. This caused me confusion at the start of the game, when I didn't instinctively know what the MC's name was - so I kept getting the impression that the MC was speaking even when it was Robin or Faye, because her portrait appeared.
Whenever character expressions are changing on screen, the entire dialogue box will be cleared for .3 seconds before text/speaker pops in again. This can be distracting, especially when MC's portrait disappears and reappears each time the other character onscreen has an expression change.
The "Affection checker" box is great! But I notice that whenever I'm in the affection checker, right-clicking opens the save menu, and closing the save menu keeps me in the affection checker menu. I eventually got used to manually closing the affection checker, but it felt oddly obtuse to me, because I usually assume that right-clicking exits out of any menu I have open.
Good luck on future development of this game! I'd love to see where it goes with the other LIs, especially Nico (that brat).

1. MC's portrait is included in all dialogue so that the players can see her reactions to the other characters' lines (if you notice, her face changes based on what they say!) we understand that it may be a little confusing, but our aim was to get the interactions between her and the others to feel more natural and less one-sided.

I just want to say that this game is one of the most adorable thing I've read!! This is the first game I've downloaded from itch.io and I'm glad it was because aghhhh my heart strings.. or maybe it's because I just finished a good route haha

Maybe more of Faye and Jun would be nice, haha I think I just like seeing best friends being best friends but generally everything is really good!

I'd love to see more of Faye! She's pretty funny, and calls the main character out a few times much to her (the mc's) dismay. On a side note, I didn't think it was very realistic for Vivian to take of his mascot head in front of the children or other people. Especially since the children might not know there's a person under there. Then again, maybe that's just me! :)

I cannot express how much I love the art for this game! I'm not an artist myself, but I just LOVE THIS ART!!!!!!! I especially love how Vivian looks when he takes the head off the mascot costume XD

regarding your side note, that's actually a pretty cute observation that no one has made thus far! thank you for thinking about the young impressionable children at Cocon </3 if you go back a bit before the scene, Maya does mention that she's one of the last people in line at the meet and greet/ that the event's coming to a close, but you do make a good point either way! maybe he got scolded by the management after that lol. also, Faye will appear in the other routes (maybe even more prominently?) so we hope you'll look out for that!

As for the questions:
1. Which character did you like best? Robin for sure! I love the realistic feel to this game and I love having a significant other as a relatable friend as well. His awkwardness definitely made him very appealing and very cute to me lol. He would definitely be my type if he was real ahaha.
2. Did you manage to unlock the post-credits scene?
I feel very proud for accidentally getting this haha. I figured the affirmation choices had a trend to them and found a delightful surprise. The entire scene was hilarious, so props to the writing team for that! (and the sound team as well, love all the music and sound effects used!)
3. Your favourite scene/ moment in the game?
My favorite scene definitely the hug scene. Maya's ranting hit home really hard, since I also love writing and share the same struggles as her. Robin's response to it also warmed my heart, and it seemed like a bit of a comfort to me. I just really love Robin and his personality haha.
4. Would you like to see more of any particular side character/ is there any other content you'd like us to add or improve on?
Looking forward to the other routes! I would like to get to know them better, so maybe I can love them greatly as well. (Nico would definitely be my second favorite). This might be a bit much, but I would love more Robin content <3, but after the other two get their spotlights of course!

I managed to finish the game fully for the most part. Just something that made me confused. I noticed in the Extras Tab, there were achievements tabs for Nico and Vivian. I was wondering if these achievements were available in the current version of the game or if it's just placeholder text or so?

(I've had that extra scene with the tickets and delivery with Vivian and I was wondering if those were related to what you mean? And as for Nico, Faye did mention him slightly but I did not see any type of achievements from either of them, unless there are other scenes I missed? I even checked the walkthrough for some hints and couldn't find anything about it, so I'm a bit stumped haha.)
But alright, I'll just post the screenshot of the bug I found.
I could be mistaken but I believe Robin should say this line and not Maya? (considering his facial expression as well). And additionally, the history tab seems kind of rough to use, (I can't use my mouse scrolling wheel to navigate through it) and I feel the bar is too small to use. the game is amazing! although i have 1 critique ^^! you get the bad ending for rejecting robin's confession, and imo it should've been a friendship ending. when you reject his confession, i feel like the game is saying "you shouldn't have rejected him, you should've picked the other option". it kinda feels like i have to accept his confession, or we won't stay friends anymore. it feels like pitty love. its just my opinion tho :D

as for your comment regarding Robin's confession rejection ending, we decided to end it so because we think of Robin as someone who doesn't really open up to others very easily. he finds it pretty difficult to do so and being honest about certain things has led him to losing friends or being seen a different way in the past. he's also a guy who takes things really seriously, so even if Maya didn't mean her words as a rejection of him and their friendship, he's more prone to thinking that he messed up somehow. because of those elements of his personality, we felt like it'd be more in character for them to slowly drift apart not because of any mistake on anyone's part, but simply because these things are a bit hard for him to take in stride.
however with time who knows what may happen? maybe they reconnect at the office and become chill work friends again :-) we hope that explains the reasoning for the ending being the way it is- it's not really intended to be a "you HAVE to accept it or else", but more of what we saw as a realistic portrayal for how things just end up not going the way you want them to even though no one's at fault.
(as for the department store thing, it's not an error! it's just put there to frustrate people HAHAHHAHAHA. or as a little "HELLO! ARE YOU FOCUSING?" call lol.)

i havent played visual novels in a LONG while; i've mostly been playing interactive fiction (so no visuals basically) and the total of the effects really hit me like a truck. The UI (the POV label especially was super cute), the...microexpressions? with the sprites...man. so good. I MISSED IT!!
lastly...well this is unhelpful and i also hope you guys are not homophobic? i'm going to assume no since you pulled some sound effects from Ace Attorney and that game was gay as hell. anyway i thought Vivian was a woman at first because of the name...i would have been 1000% okay with that. that's all.

as for our characters, rest assured there will be more of Faye in the other routes, so we hope you'll look forward to that! as for the guys, they all have pretty androgynous names (as you've noticed)- through that, along with them having stereotypically "girly" interests or appearances, we wanted to show that ANYONE CAN BE A PRINCESS! you don't have to fit certain expectations to be a great person and love interest! we're really happy that you picked up on it and hope it came across well :-)
we're also really glad that you enjoyed your return (?) to the visual novel genre and that you liked the UI! our artist worked really hard drawing a frankly insane number of sprite variations so we love that you had fun with them.

Re playing it again before the school vacation ends lol, I noticed there's a one bug. So the scene is when they were talking about marketing plan in park and Mc want to help so she ask when will they need it. I think the dialogue that Robin should say is, "it'll be nice if we could get it this week." or something like that.

• I cant choose xD I like all of them <3 but for now I'll choose Robin, I keep smiling that makes my jaw hurt while doing his route. I love how he look cute when he's flustered and shy >///< I also like how supportive and sweet he is towards to Mc. Dont forget his POV too! As for Nico, I also like him haha he was tsun tsun how cute >///< Oh and there's also Vivian hehe. I even accidentally got in his route because he's affection rate is much higher than Robin at my first try lol.

• I'm actually not sure if I got it, but if its the end scene where they were bidding, then I do manage to unlock it.

• Hoho, I like the scene where Robin used the Coco dolls to make the cute kid stop crying. It was adorable <3 In his route, I also love how he comfort Mc by hugging her before he confess and so those lovey dovey scenes. There is also time when he tried to get the matching Coco chains for Mc in gatcha machine, additional for that is the scene where Robin praised Maya for coming up with the commercial idea.
There is also a scene when Nico putting make up to Mc, I love tsundere, like during their first encounter. He even willing to use the extra tiny defected totes cuz' Mc doesn't grab one. I like to see his blush lmao. I also found it quite fun during his extra in Robin's route lol
I also like Vivian! I love how he grin during the delivery scene with a sound effect too xD although its weird to see a art gallary(?) with bunch of hotdog or idunno xD
The one I laughed the most is during Altair's guest appearance. Its during the time when Faye send a message to the number in calling card lolol

• Domo arigatou~ I really do enjoy it. tbh, I was restricting myself from playing this when I download it and wait for more updates but I cant help but play it. The charm is too strong >3< I love the art, it was well drawn, like whaaa?! how kawaii >3< . I also like how you could see the affection rates of each potential partners. Coco design is cute too, especially those stickers. Uwaa <3 I also keep listening about the BGM. It was cute and entertaining.

Hello devs! I wanted to thank you for making such a gem of a game <3 Playing through it made me realize I don't just *like* romcom otomes, but I *love* them! I had so many emotions finishing Robin's routes that I had to step back so I don't just word dump, but here it goes!
The writing was incredibly witty and realistic all throughout, and I love that you can really build the character that Maya is because not all choices contribute to the affection meter. (Might have to use some of those manifestations myself!) You made all the characters have fun and unique personalities that fit the bright and bubbly world of Heart a la Mode! Even the side characters shine, which is a testament to how much thought went into them. There were instances where I straight up lol-ed cause the humor is so fun <3 Also the POV switches? Beautiful, amazing. I love it when otome games do it, and your game really made the switches so fun and sweet to read through.
The art is so wonderful as well! It's light, soft, and delivers the pastel vibes of the world so, so well. The BGs fit so nicely (s/o to the bedroom, cause I just love imagining the player coming home to a literal Coco shrine HAHAH) The GUI delivers the vibes well, and everything is just bathed in pink that it really drives home the cute romcom vibes to the max. Also Coco. No words - just Coco. The details in the stickers, the plushies, and everything Coco is so *chef's kiss* I, too, would be obsessed if they were an actual irl mascot.
It was also lovely to read the developer's notes! I could see that there was a lot of love put into the game and that you guys had fun with it, and I just love how that all shines through with the game. I eagerly look forward to the full release and playing through Nico and Vivian's routes soon! Thank you for sharing this game <3

[Contains some spoilers] Nico is definitely my favorite (just going with the flow of choices that felt right on my first tries, I ended up with a whole 42 affection points for him lol), but I really love Robin and Vivian too. I'm a huge fan of otome games, and this is absolutely the best one I've ever played. It's probably because it aligns with all of my personal tastes (I really really love the soft and cutesy aesthetics, and all of the love interests are also very much to my liking lol) as well as being personally relatable (I too love cute mascot characters, though I'm not nearly as devoted as Maya and Robin... I'm also someone who loves writing but is really insecure about it). I enjoyed the whole thing so very much!! As far as my favorite parts... I was swooning when Nico did Maya's makeup (as someone who doesn't know shit about makeup, having someone do my makeup really nicely is a dream). I also almost cried when Robin hugged Maya (I was cheering too! I loved the whole scene!), though his bleeped-out cursing immediately after made me laugh so hard I legitimately almost fell on the floor and had to catch my breath for a minute. I "aww"'d aloud so often during the whole game. I'm really curious about Altair, and I think it'd be fun if he showed up again sometime (to get some jealous love interest fanservice or as a cool friend or something... I've had numerous awful little inconveniences piling up recently, so I was feeling pretty shitty earlier today, and worrying a lot about my birthday (it's few days but things aren't looking so good). I'm really so glad that I found this game and played it! It lifted my spirits so much. I actually burst into tears at the end of Robin's route (lucky me, I got the best end on my first try!) just because I felt so happy and de-stressed (I definitely needed a good cry). I feel so deeply fulfilled! Another detail I really liked was Maya's daily affirmations. It felt a little silly at first, but even if it is, it's also really nice too? I wanna start doing that now!!! I can't wait to play the other routes too (I feel like this is gonna be a huge comfort game for me) whenever they release. Thank you so much for this absolutely wonderful experience! I would also sell my soul for some Coco merch; he's the cutest!

bro this games so good. man all of the characters are so likeable, and you just want to play more of the game at all times. this is one of the first otome games ive ever played so im very impressed. the art is really nice as well! i also really like how they give multiple options for how you want to respond to others. it adds some personality to the usually naive and bland mc. honestly this game has made my day. i am now going to wait for a new route because i am desperate for more content. i definitely recommend this game for whenever you're bored or just want to feel all happy n shi. good luck with the rest of the game!

this game was WAY too cute ( ´ ▽ ` ).｡ｏ♡ it's probably the only visual novel i can bring myself to finish lololol and it was super entertaining throughout. i love how it's straight to the point instead of giving a bunch of useless, boring dialogue before we actually get to the good part (btw the whole game was "the good part" so no complaints there). the art is adorable and i think the whole "texting" idea with all the coco stickers was really creative too! i also didn't really expect multiple endings for one character since this was made for a game jam and i'm guessing you didn't have that much time to make the whole thing, but i was pleasantly surprised either way. overall this is definitely a fun game to pass time with and i'm super excited for its future (especially vivian's route hehe) :D hoping to see more of miles too in nico's route!
(spoilers) if i were to be nitpicky though, i'd suggest giving subtle hints that maya was the one who outbid robin in that coco auction (maybe we have a short scene or conversation of her talking to faye about finally getting that limited edition plushie or something) or else that ending seems a bit random and "forced" in there just for comedic value, instead of actually being canon (?). some of the anatomy and perspectives also seem a bit off in some scenes (side profiles, the cg of the little girl at the start, the cg when we meet vivian in the mall, also the part right after robin hugs us and his sprite looks kinda blurry/low resolution) but it's understandable! i don't expect the artwork to be perfect and it's better than a LOT of other small visual novel games for sure (especially cause this was made in a relatively short period of time), but just something to be aware of in the future! it actually makes me feel kinda nostalgic and reminds me of old otome games i played when i was younger so it's not necessarily a bad thing. i could go into more detail but this comment is really long and i'm not here to give an art lesson lolol but either way the overall style and vibe of the entire game is super cute and i can't wait to go through new dialogue and endings next time! This game is seriously so!! adorable!! I wasn't planning to play it until all of the routes were released, but I just couldn't resist. The art, characters, writing, and just everything was phenomenal! I had a ton of laughs and overall really enjoyed it! Now, I can't wait for the other routes (specifically Nico! I saw him and immediately declared that he would be mine!!)

1. Which character did you like best?: Nico...! He never failed to make me laugh when he was on screen. His comments may be a bit...offhanded, but for some reason, that's a part of his charm~
But I seriously loved all of the characters. They're all amazing!
2. Did you manage to unlock the post-credits scene?: Yes! It was too funny. I still find it funny that I got it first try. I just kept picking the money option because...capitalism I guess? :D
3. Your favorite scene/ moment in the game?: Every scene with Nico in it...
Simping aside, I really liked the scene where Robin praised Maya a ton for coming up with the commercial idea. As well as the one where he came out from the meeting and said everyone liked the idea. It was too cute!!! I also really enjoyed all of the art scenes, so there's that.
Special mention: The scene where Robin was gambling his heart away to get something that Maya would like...and Jun just sitting on the side trying to get him to stop and having to come up with an excuse-- it was too funny
4. Would you like to see more of any particular side character/ is there any other content you'd like us to add or improve on?: More Faye and Jun! (Faye makes me g-a-y. She's so beautiful...............)
Also Miles. I hope to see him a lot in Nico's route. Seems like a funny guy. I think it would be funny to see him and Faye interact considering their oppositions when it comes to flat earth conferences haha

- the bad endings made me sad :( they were too realistic!! I'm so glad I got the best ending on my first try because it would've hurt a lot to get one of the bad endings first!

- Nico's "extra scene" has me curious now. I wonder if he made a dating profile to seriously look for love, or if he did it to mess with people. My initial thought was that it was to mess with people since he made sly comments to Faye, but seeing his profile makes it seem serious haha. I'm anticipating his route too much
- Vivian's extra scene(s) were also nice to see. At first, I didn't know how much I'd like him, but he's really cute n just trying his best! I also like his dynamic with Maya so that's that.
- Learning that Vivian and Robin are siblings honestly made my heart warm up. I wish to see interactions between the two. It's kind of sad that Vivian doesn't feel like he can open up to Robin though :')
- Last but not least, I'm jumping the gun and calling that Miles is Vivian's roommate. After seeing what his personality was like, and the fact that he unironically went to a flat earth conference, I think it's possible. I might be wrong, but it's just a guess after all!

Thank you for taking the time to share all your insights with us- we're really glad that certain aspects of the game and story came through (the realistic aspect of it, and the focus that we wanted to put on friendships between the different cast members). We wish we had coworkers like Robin and friends like Faye and Miles too.... (we've also gotten comments about a possible Faye route, so hmm...but no promises there!) In any case, rest assured- she and the other side characters will be making appearances in the other routes as well! This won't be the last you see of them~ there WILL be more Miles Nico interactions bless your heart. Nico is a sly dog who would DEFINITELY catfish people for fun...or would he??? As you say, it's all part of his charm ;) he really is an acquired taste lol.
Also regarding your roommate predictions: guess you'll have to stay tuned to find out! (the comedic value in Miles- a possible unironic flat earther- and literal archaeologist wannabe Vivian being roommates is really too good to ignore, isn't it?) It bothers me a bit that I couldn't scroll the mobile chats and when it scrolls really fast (and especially when I have to pick a reply), but this aside I think I like everything? The cuteness and all those details were what got me to try this game, and those things are absolutely great. I also love that MC is both an adult with a job AND a geek who visits conventions!
I read shibalist's comment (a few comments below) and absolutely agree with their first two points. Idk if it's just me, but I actually don't read the names shown above the speech box in VNs, since it's usually clear who speaks, so it threw me off a lot that I had to start checking after instinctively already reading the speech box itself. Maybe there's a middle ground solution, like putting a greyish filter on MC when she's not talking, or making her portrait smaller, or something like that. Just a thought, it would certainly help me!
Anyway, I'm suuuper interested in Vivian, so I'll definitely check out this game again later and hopefully get to play his route! And I love the art a lot!

Our intention was to show the MC's reactions to the other characters' dialogue (her face changes according to what they say), which is why we didn't choose to hide her face! However, we definitely do see where you're coming from and will look into solutions for future instalments- we're considering a function that allows players to hide/ show her reactions!

Good lord this game was so cute - the art direction, Coco stickers, backgrounds, and character expressions all sold this as a heartwarming and adorably lighthearted story. (AND THEIR GODDAMN ROOMS.) I also just really enjoyed all of the random conversations with friends and other LIs interspersed throughout the route; it felt really natural and fluffy.
There were some things I noticed about the UI that could be polished, though, and I wanted to list them in case you guys needed feedback for future versions!
Good luck on future development of this game! I'd love to see where it goes with the other LIs, especially Nico (that brat).

MC's portrait is included in all dialogue so that the players can see her reactions to the other characters' lines (if you notice, her face changes based on what they say!) we understand that it may be a little confusing, but our aim was to get the interactions between her and the others to feel more natural and less one-sided.
2. thank you so much for pointing this out! it's an issue that we've been trying to fix, and we'll definitely continue to work on it for future uploads.

I just want to say that this game is one of the most adorable thing I've read!! This is the first game I've downloaded from itch.io and I'm glad it was because aghhhh my heart strings.. or maybe it's because I just finished a good route haha

On a side note, I didn't think it was very realistic for Vivian to take of his mascot head in front of the children or other people. Especially since the children might not know there's a person under there. Then again, maybe that's just me! :)

I cannot express how much I love the art for this game! I'm not an artist myself, but I just LOVE THIS ART!!!!!!! I especially love how Vivian looks when he takes the head off the mascot costume XD

As for the questions:
1. Which character did you like best?
Robin for sure! I love the realistic feel to this game and I love having a significant other as a relatable friend as well. His awkwardness definitely made him very appealing and very cute to me lol. He would definitely be my type if he was real ahaha.
2. Did you manage to unlock the post-credits scene?
I feel very proud for accidentally getting this haha. I figured the affirmation choices had a trend to them and found a delightful surprise. The entire scene was hilarious, so props to the writing team for that! (and the sound team as well, love all the music and sound effects used!)
3. Your favourite scene/ moment in the game?
My favorite scene definitely the hug scene. Maya's ranting hit home really hard, since I also love writing and share the same struggles as her. Robin's response to it also warmed my heart, and it seemed like a bit of a comfort to me. I just really love Robin and his personality haha.
4. Would you like to see more of any particular side character/ is there any other content you'd like us to add or improve on?
Looking forward to the other routes! I would like to get to know them better, so maybe I can love them greatly as well. (Nico would definitely be my second favorite). This might be a bit much, but I would love more Robin content <3, but after the other two get their spotlights of course!

I managed to finish the game fully for the most part. Just something that made me confused. I noticed in the Extras Tab, there were achievements tabs for Nico and Vivian. I was wondering if these achievements were available in the current version of the game or if it's just placeholder text or so?

(I've had that extra scene with the tickets and delivery with Vivian and I was wondering if those were related to what you mean? And as for Nico, Faye did mention him slightly but I did not see any type of achievements from either of them, unless there are other scenes I missed? I even checked the walkthrough for some hints and couldn't find anything about it, so I'm a bit stumped haha.)
But alright, I'll just post the screenshot of the bug I found.
I could be mistaken but I believe Robin should say this line and not Maya? (considering his facial expression as well). And additionally, the history tab seems kind of rough to use, (I can't use my mouse scrolling wheel to navigate through it) and I feel the bar is too small to use. the game is amazing! although i have 1 critique ^^! you get the bad ending for rejecting robin's confession, and imo it should've been a friendship ending. when you reject his confession, i feel like the game is saying "you shouldn't have rejected him, you should've picked the other option". it kinda feels like i have to accept his confession, or we won't stay friends anymore. it feels like pitty love. its just my opinion tho :D

as for your comment regarding Robin's confession rejection ending, we decided to end it so because we think of Robin as someone who doesn't really open up to others very easily. he finds it pretty difficult to do so and being honest about certain things has led him to losing friends or being seen a different way in the past. he's also a guy who takes things really seriously, so even if Maya didn't mean her words as a rejection of him and their friendship, he's more prone to thinking that he messed up somehow. because of those elements of his personality, we felt like it'd be more in character for them to slowly drift apart not because of any mistake on anyone's part, but simply because these things are a bit hard for him to take in stride.
however with time who knows what may happen? maybe they reconnect at the office and become chill work friends again :-) we hope that explains the reasoning for the ending being the way it is- it's not really intended to be a "you HAVE to accept it or else", but more of what we saw as a realistic portrayal for how things just end up not going the way you want them to even though no one's at fault.
(as for the department store thing, it's not an error! it's just put there to frustrate people HAHAHHAHAHA. or as a little "HELLO! ARE YOU FOCUSING?" call lol.)

wow, that was insane. i want to go out and meet people now, that was crazy. there's so much so hopefully this is coherent.
1. Which character did you like best?
i think at the moment, Robin, just because he got so many scenes because his is the only route out right? but i love all the characters soso much, including Maya and Faye...girlbosses am i right....Nico also stood out to me for his ~spicy personality~ etc. but i really did love alllll the characters.
also idk if this is related, but i really liked how...well. feminine? the men were allowed to be without being weird about their sexualities/masculinity/etc. like yes robin is a princess <3 no further questions.
2. Did you manage to unlock the post-credits scene?

everything was great! but if i had to add anything, i sort of wish we saw more of Faye? her influencing the story more or something. i love her

i havent played visual novels in a LONG while; i've mostly been playing interactive fiction (so no visuals basically) and the total of the effects really hit me like a truck. The UI (the POV label especially was super cute), the...microexpressions? with the sprites...man. so good. I MISSED IT!!
lastly...well this is unhelpful and i also hope you guys are not homophobic? i'm going to assume no since you pulled some sound effects from Ace Attorney and that game was gay as hell. anyway i thought Vivian was a woman at first because of the name...i would have been 1000% okay with that. that's all.

as for our characters, rest assured there will be more of Faye in the other routes, so we hope you'll look forward to that! as for the guys, they all have pretty androgynous names (as you've noticed)- through that, along with them having stereotypically "girly" interests or appearances, we wanted to show that ANYONE CAN BE A PRINCESS! you don't have to fit certain expectations to be a great person and love interest! we're really happy that you picked up on it and hope it came across well :-)
we're also really glad that you enjoyed your return (?) to the visual novel genre and that you liked the UI! our artist worked really hard drawing a frankly insane number of sprite variations so we love that you had fun with them.
ps. our artist is indeed a huge fan of Ace Attorney...there's a little coincidental MAYA FAYE joke there at the start of the game as well for that reason ;)
