Hey I don't know why this is happening, but when I try to update the game for Android it can't update. I've downloaded the latest version and try to initialize it to update the app and it has some issue where the update doesn't finish.
Android dosent support update for COR(need to do fresh install, after uninstalling old version), check following path for backing up the saves and reinstall latest version https://cor.fandom.com/wiki/Installation#Android
You can do updates, but sometimes they fail. If they fail then you need to do a fresh install. Make sure you also have enough free space. You need 3-4x the apk size.

But after updating to the latest version of the game I decided to start the game again, and after the first major event I am currently stuck in the new house with no way to go to the girls to progress with the story.
You can use the Exile button, go outside, and manually go back to the old house, since the map hasn't changed. If u say what event u did Zim can fix the bug from happening
This was right after talking to Maeve and Asmedia in the living room.
I noticed the portal in the exile buttons but it was only letting me go back to the bedroom.
I uninstalled the game and installed the latest version to see if it had something to do from updating an existing version vs installing it anew(reason is I'm on android and can't really move around save files).
But now that I reached the same point in the story it seems to be working correctly.
if you had taked with maeve in living room, then there should be others girls roms, in portal.., i bet you didnt read the dialogue during the conversation happened in kitchen. (you need to talk with maeve in 2 events before unlocking more options in portal)

Tbh I'd find it pretty messed up to give us her card then have that happen without a way to reverse it somewhere down the line. Especially since she was an awesome character.
Though if I'm honest that event might have killed this game for me. This game's clearly got dark aspects to it, but child murder? Much as I respect the event as a narrative piece, being an author myself, honestly that sort of stuff is too much for me. I play games like this for fun, and that sort of stuff crossed too big a line for me.
Not saying it was a wrong decision - as said, appreciate the narrative nature of it - but if it's going to be that sort of story, I doubt I'll enjoy it any more personally.
I actually finally found a minor amount of genuine interest in the game, for once it didn't feel like generic shonen schlock. I mean the protagonist I could write a volume about how uninteresting he is and how unoriginal this portrayal of a character is but I will freely admit in that one instance I can see some potential.
A bit impatient I really love that's game and it's probably one of my 4 favorites with lesson in love, Android life and corrupted kingdom but I am wondering 2 thing
1) Did you add more wholesome content? Like headpat or kiss for every girls or things like that :3
2) Is it possible do be the good/bad guy? I mean like ok we protect the girl and all but with our enemy? Will there be choice for example to beat them (good guy) or kill them (bad guy). Thing like that

IF you’re where I think you are, then you need to go to the meeting room and click on each girl’s portrait there.
There’s a bug where half the time these portraits don’t seem to be interactable when you enter the room, which lead me to missing this for a while too. If that happens just re-enter the room and the buttons should start working.
So, the update script can be made to run with a command (example: launcher.exe update), and a different script can be made to check for updates (example: launcher.exe checkupdate)
The game at startup will always run launcher.exe checkupdate, this should be after the main menu loads. If there's an update it can then notify the player with a pop up, and let the player choose if they want to update. This script won't run every time you open the menu
If launcher.exe fails to run, then it shouldclose itself. If checkupdate or update has an error, it should close itself (errors such as no internet, server's down, can't resolve address, etc)
I'm actually working on something along that line. So now when you press the play button on the launcher it will check for updates and notify you if there is one available. If there isn't or if you hit no then it will launch the game. I've had a few people test it and it seems to work well. Since the game is in renpy there isn't a way to have the update be built into the game itself, which is why its part of the launcher.
You did bring up a good point about checking for no internet, as I didn't put a check for that. I will add that in. If that goes well then starting with 0.60 it will have the auto update. If you have any more ideas hit me up on the discord server.
i really enjoy this game im glad i found it first time playing it i forgot it even had sex scenes in it for the first 6 hours of playing it its an amazing game i also love the story to the game im super excited for more of it to come out ive already rated the game the best i can if i could rate more i would story is amazing the sex scenes are also amazing 100/10 i didnt relize i played the game until 6 am i enjoyed it that much i really hope u continue on your amazing game i would love to play more of it i already joined your discord server waiting for more everything about this game is amazing i love all the features u did with the game the head pats i wish that when u spend time with the characters that it would show some text and stuff like what there doing or what there talking about when they spend time togetherbut overall the game is amazing its had more time and effort put into it than most popular novel games i really enjoy reading and developing a relationship with the other characters i would like for more girls to be added and doing quests for them you prob already planned for that to happen (sorry for the long comment)
As someone who has played the Early Access of 0.60, I can confirm. The update is nothing short of spectacular. I could hype it up all day, but I will let Zims work speak for itself.
You need to talk to asmedia twice at the peak(at different times). You should read your conversation more carefully, in order to make sure you wont miss such details. (and by checking girls cards, other than the signals)
You need to talk to all 7 girls and convince them to join you. (Don't forget Sheila like everyone does) Then "give" them the rooms by visiting each of them in the handling room. Then go to the meeting room. Check their hits, they tell you what to do.

how do you get the final event in the gallery with asmedia? I have completed all the quests for the current version. ( 0.60 )
it means you havent checked the girls cards, girl specific events are present in there.
BTW are you sure its asmedias event you are missing, check the title again, it must be herameal(if so, that events is only from lab on monday morning)
i did check the card, and the hint says to have a talk with asmedia or smth

When ever i try do go to dusk city the game just takes me to the main menu have tried the debug patch but it did nothing to fix my problem.
Its a known bug, which is resolved in now released , 0.60 version.

As far as I remember, most girls do have headpats... Have you checked their rooms?

It means its not in the game yet, so it will be available in a future version, but not necessarily the next update.
