I paid for the full version but when I open the game through itch and it gets to the main screen I still can't click on the other 3 boys. it might just be that I'm stupid and don't realize I have to do something but can someone pls help me out ;-;
You only need to start a new file briefly so the game can check that the DLC is now there. After that you can load files or return to the main menu and see that the DLC is active!
I tried so hard to gain affection points with Jeremy even using a cheat code to give 500 points with him[misery-loves-company] and I just know found out that it wasn't even possible and that I wasted 2 hours of my life because I hadn't read the description carefully enough.(I'd assumed that all boys were dateable in all versions)
-I don't know why I wrote this, maybe as like a cautionary tale or something? Anyways have good day <3
I wish I can buy this DLC but I can't I live in turkey and $19.99 is so much in Turkish money and I don't have that much I wish I can buy it cuz I love this game so much :(
I wish I could be a much more lovely couple with Jeremy because in XOXO blood droplets we are so in love. How come I can’t feel enough love from him TAT Yes, I set my expectation too high, but at least let me have a kisssssss!!!

Full disclosure: I haven't finished my first playthrough yet, but I'm a little disappointed so far :(
I came to this game after finding (and playing/replaying Our Life +DLCs (neeeeeeeed that part 4 in my life!!!)) so I was expecting it to be similar to that in the sense of being able to make choices that influence the MC's personality/the conversations. However, so far, it looks like MC is basically set in stone. To be fair, there's nothing really in the description that should've made me think the mechanics of the game would be anything like Our Life, but given the fact that two of the minor characters in Our Life are actually romanceable here, I must've assumed some of the things that make Our Life so great would be present here.
Getting to choose what kind of "jerk" MC is through dialogue choices would've been great because right now, I just find MC annoying, which has been making it hard for me to get invested. Like I said, probably my fault, but still somewhat disappointing!
I'll keep pushing through to play through the game, but it's definitely not going to be the shameless one-sitting playthrough that I did with Our Life lol.
I'm afraid Our Life was our first attempt at a customizable MC. All our previous games from when we were newer developers have completely set in stone main characters. OL is very much one of a kind for us right now. Including XOD characters in OL was a fun extra done for XOD fans moving to OL. Our Life doesn't really explain that they're cameos and we didn't except most players of Our Life to know that they were cameos and seek out the game they were from. I hope that makes sense.
I'm sorry for the trouble! I'm afraid we don't have any control over that. Itch.io support will likely be a lot more helpful for site-based errors. All I can suggest is checking your library for the "things you own" section and see if it's there. You might have access to it even without the emails coming through.
Wow, I noticed Shiloh was the same guy from Our Life- but Jeremy?! I completely forgot about him in Our Life, and how do I love him so much more on this game?! XDDD
It's a mystery, haha. Considering it's Shiloh he might still like her, he might have gotten over her, or he might not have ever really liked her to begin with.
He's a romance option in the free, non-extended version of XOXO Droplets! So you don't have to buy this one for him. Though, if you get the extended version then Shiloh, Nate, and Everett will still included in the file since you get the free and paid content all in one. The page is just advertising how can also get Jeremy, Bae, Pran, and a bonus LI by purchasing this.

Haha, yep, they're both from XOD. Jeremy is still a little punk in this game, but he does have more charms.
