There is an explanation on my discord, it highly depends on your android version. On Android 11 you have to do some extra steps to backup your savefiles.
You should rename v0.14 to "My New Family 1 v1.0" and name 0.21 "My New Family 2 v0.21"
Since they are separate sequential games. (with 2 requiring importing a finished savegame from 1 to import your decisions from) it makes sense to actually number them as sequel games.
hey, i'm kinda running out of space in my drive. in the "game" folder, i noticed a file called "saves". can i just copy it out, and delete the previous version, then download this one, and put the old save file in?
when you click save in the game your games are saved by Renpy on your hard drive under a folder elsewhere and shouldn't take up much space, you should be able to delete the old version and download the new version and still have the save file. If that doesn't free up space, then possibly saving games to a separate location or flash drive?
Dude an incest patch takes literally 0.7 seconds to find. Patreon and Subscribestar etc. have very strict rules about incest and thus this is the only way to skirt it and allow these fine creators to make money off their hard work.
There used to be a code to unlock it, but apparently that wasn't enough, and Patreon found out and demanded the dev remove it entirely or be deplatformed. Thankfully somebody linked an unofficial patch that restored it.

I would love to put some money towards this. Just sucks that the labeling of people throws me off. I tried to fix it via the patch but it never works. If anyone has a better way of dropping the patch onto the file via Android please let me know. I'm lost in the sauce.
This isn't a criticism, just something I've noticed in the last couple of updates.
If it was me, I would be craving some alone time by now. And the MC might not need the money, but I'd be dying for some routine activity like a job or volunteer work to give his life some sort of purpose, even if it's only a couple of afternoons a week.

It was a jab at people that constantly said there are lesbian encounters in the game, which there aren't. Nothing against lesbians or anything, but some people were very vocal to complain about the girls wanting to make each other feel good , especially the "Alice touching Sandy" thing. So you probably got a wrong impression there, there is no lesbian hate or anything in the game.
k i get what you saying . didn't know about those vocal ppl , so to me it came over the way it did . still though don't let a few ppl mess you up , afterall if they don't like it they can just fuck off. you doing great keep it up , although they have a right to voice their opinions it is afterall you're game and your vision . so just stay true to yourself and your story , and damn the rest the fans will remain no matter what .
This is a amazing game it is so well done and a great story to I can't wait to play more I just got done with 0.14 and now I am doing 0.15 so far it such a heart fill story keep up the great work and thank you for bringing this game to us!
dear killer7 i just want to say i admire your work i love both the story line and love scenes. most games put there work in love scenes and not the storyline much . but i admire how you spend your time and effort in this beautiful storyline as well as love scenes ,.but your game has one minor inconvenience. it the fact that you change the words from what they actually are to something with different meaning. such as roommate it actually means either sibling, brother or sister along with landlady, neighbor etc at first in the early first part of the story it would seem nothing out of the ordinary but when you get deeper in the story you will realize what those words really mean so as a suggestion i would like you to give the players the choice to choose what the relationship with the girls in the games are either landlady roommate etc in the future updates
this is because patreon disallows incest. more like the credit card companies wont allow it. on steam however they do allow and the credit card companies dont have a choice but to accept this fact. Like i said patreon dont allow any kind of incest, because they are too cowardly to stand up to the cc companies unlike steam have.

Did you do harem route? Cause half sandra scene involved with alice, and lucy, maddie , landlady and her friend yvonne nvm didn't i think im missing half gallery myself even though. I play it before first time miss half gallery....could of swore choose top choice.

As far as the different versions goes there's a limitation I believe on itch.io as to the file size a person can upload. 0.14 has everything from the beginning of the game up to update 0.14 and 0.19 is everything after 0.14. so if you want the full story start with 0.14 until it tells you to get the next update. Backup your save files then update to the latest version to continue the story.
I played the previous version with the taboo and all and i wanted to download the new version and it doesnt have the taboo is there an incest patch or is there something in the settings?
Patreon/itch.io don't allow for incest content to be uploaded directly to their platforms. There is a patch out there somewhere to enable that content, but I currently don't have time to find it. If I remember I'll share the link when I get home from work.
I love your work. I'm on my fifth playthru of MNF and I just started MNM. Lucy reminds me of the one that got away. She didn't have additional body parts. Just an "average" looking redhead who's personal demons made her a tragic beauty. Anyway, after 0.17 there's no real sense of drama or stakes. Part of why I, as a reader, love Lucy is how hard the MC has to work to get her to accept herself. That was excellent work. The drama doesn't have to be huge, it could be something as simple as MC gets sick and you can work on Kira. It could be a sense of empty nest as the girls start looking into learning the things they are passionate about. It could be the stress of needing to ready the house for several children being born in rapid succession. You could even play with the idea of hiring a nanny or two. It could be one of the girls having complications during the pregnancy and needing to be monitored. You did say Mary had a hard time with Maddie. There are multiple story threads which are established already. And I feel you can continue to do wonderful things with this creation you shared with the world.

as far as I know the game is split into two separate downloads, can someone tell me how to connect them?
Every time I want to start the second part, it says that I don't have any saves from the first part.
My New Family 0.14 is part 1. You have to play through that and at the end you get an option to save that transfers over to 0.20 when you startup.
