Jam is for pixel art asset packs (not games)

Theme: Autumn

Theme can be interpreted however you want.

Example: theme is cats and you may just create simple cats or you can draw anime-like cat girl...

Rules:

• Following theme required
• Submissions must be made during the jam
• Submission must contain (not exclusively) files in common image formats ( PNG, GIF and etc.)
• Submission downloads must contain (not exclusively) archive in zip format or plain file(s)
• Submission must be a game asset(s) (not just a piece of pixel art)
• Reusing existing assets is prohibited
• Using AI tools is prohibited
• No NSFW content
• Asset pack must be free (price) at least before voting period ends
• Multiply submissions are allowed but try to put effort in each of them
• Devlogs that show process of your drawing are highly encouraged (example)
• Free-culture licensed submissions are highly encouraged

Rating:

• Theme: How well do the entry stick to the theme and how original the interpretation
• Consistency: How well do the entry parts compatible with each other
• Clarity/Readability: How easy to understand what author drew
• X Factor (overall enjoyment): How much do you enjoy the entry

Don't forget to rate other's entries!

Tips:

• Read itch's official quality guidelines. They are more suited for games but there exist some tips for assets
• Properly set metadata can increase count of people that see your assets

FAQ:

Is there a minimum number of assets or a recommended amount?

I thought about rating criteria based on count of assets but understood that it would be bad.

Just Imagine some beginner they can make quality assets but it will take much more time than for professionals.

Professionals have already know how to draw something quickly and  they have intuition they also have already overcome many difficulties. Many of those difficulties you need to overcome 1 time then it won't be difficult for you... But first time overcoming concrete difficult is just like spending several hours or even days...

Don't forget about "X Factor (overall enjoyment)". It is absolutely up to you because it shows how much do you like the pack. The pack can be high quality maybe you even rated all other criterias with 5 stars but you don't like at all so you can rate 0 stars this criteria. It is chance to avoid unfairness... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hope in the process we will find compromise rule that can allow to rate and compare (if you have any ideas create a topic in community page of the jam)
