This jam is now over. It ran from 2021-12-06 00:00:00 to 2021-12-12 23:59:59. View 17 entries

This year the One-Page RPG Jam was the biggest TTRPG jam in Itch.io’s history. We’re going to close out the year with a look back at the previous jams, with a week-long hackathon.

HOW TO ENTER

Pick an entry from either of the two previous one-page RPG jams, and hack it into something new. You could take a main mechanic and build on it, take a game and change the genre, mash-up two different games, or anything else that inspires you.

The new game doesn’t have to be a single page, but with only a week for this jam it’s encouraged to keep the project small in scope; especially as the game you’re hacking will be one page already.

Previous Jams

Check out the submission pages from the previous jams to find a game to hack, or visit the #pitch-your-game channel on our Discord server.

Please consider rating the games you hack and/or share the original on social media.

Please also check for any license the game may have: some games have a specific license or SRD, or might be shared under a Creative Commons license. Be considerate to the original creator’s work - borrow, hack, and be inspired but don’t plagiarize.

COMMUNITY

  1. Submissions must be based on a submission (or elements of a submission) from the previous two One-Page RPG Jams.
  2. Submissions must be made during the jam period specifically for the jam. No old games reposted.
  3. Multiple submissions are encouraged.
  4. Be considerate of the original creator’s work. Don’t copy text verbatim, and respect any license covering the work.
  5. Games can be released as free, PWYW, or with a price tag. If you're charging for the game, please send me a copy so I can review for content which breaks the rules, and consider adding community copies.
