Oink Jam is a super cool, beginner-friendly game jam that takes place over the span of four days! Game jams are a great way to commit to a project and see it through. Anyone is welcome to join, but we especially hope to encourage girls and other gender-minority youth to participate in this game jam! :)
Two themes will be announced at the start of the jam. Join the Discord server to suggest and vote on themes. You are only required to incorporate one, but feel free to try using both as a challenge!
PRIZE LIST WILL BE ADDED TO THROUGHOUT THE WEEK! Take a look at our first Oink Jam for an example of what our prize pool was.

• You must keep track of your progress. This can be done either by taking screenshots every day with the date/time visible (you can hang on to these or just send in the Discord's progress channel), or by having a GitHub repository for your project. We will verify all potential winners' progress tracking at the end.
• You can use any game engine, and compete solo or in teams up to 4.
• No AI (this includes game page elements like your thumbnail). Games must be entirely made during the jam's duration.
• A brief explanation of your theme incorporation and any usage of premade assets must be disclosed in your game submission (you'll see the questions for it when you're submitting your game).
• Games should generally be appropriate for all ages. No hateful, offensive, or NSFW content. Games with violence/gore (e.g. horror games) should have a clear warning on the page.
• Submitting a web build of your game (playable in the browser) isn’t required, but it’s HIGHLY recommended since they receive significantly more ratings. If that’s not possible, please submit a Windows or Mac build instead.
• Be kind, and provide helpful feedback during voting!
Participants can rate games from the jam's end to 5/17/26 at 9:00 AM PST. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are decided through the rating results. The full winner list will be announced on 5/18.
The queue is enabled, meaning you'll be given five randomly chosen games to rate first before you can play any game. This is so that all games get a minimum number of ratings.
• Theme: How well the game incorporated the jam’s theme. Extra points should not be awarded for including both themes, nor deducted for implementing only one.
• Gameplay: How smooth, engaging, and well-developed the game mechanics felt. (How fun was it, basically!)
• Visuals: How appealing the game looked, including art style, graphics, and overall presentation.
• Audio: How effective the game’s sound design and music were in enhancing the overall experience.
