Oh you don't know who we are?? It's coo, our feelings aren't hurt. As a matter of fact... WELCOME FAMILY!!!

We are a small crew in Orange County that has been working hard to build up the Orange County Game Dev scene since 2018. Our events are ran with indies all across OC and we have become family to many of them. To keep our Tilted Game Jam going during these times, we are going virtual and hope the community can grow larger. Enough Introductions.... 

If you haven't been to a Tilted Game Jam. We make games in 12 hours (11 hrs to develop, 1 hour to showcase).

Every hour between 1PM and 7PM, we add scope creep to your games for more points. No pressure on adding more points though.

Then by the 11th hour, we ask all teams to show case their games, and show us their scope creep checklist... 

• minus points for missing scope creep,
•  additional points for adding creep successfully, 
• and 0 points if you just wanted to play it safe with no scope creep.

 After show casing, we usually get tacos, but in this case, lets game together.

Requirements For This Game Jam:

BEFORE THE GAME JAM:

1. Create an account on ko-fi.com, ($10 game jam entrance fee)

5. Create your team (solos are allowed)
6. Select a Team Captain

(free agents please create a team by the day of the event using our discord server).

AT GAME JAM:

1. Get Theme In our Discord Server (one noun, one adjective) @ 10AM
2. If you would like Scope Creep points:
   1. @1 PM-8 PM Every hour Have your Captain contact the Discord Admins for a video chat.
3. Showcases @ 9PM
4. Submit by 1030 PM (Must be uploaded for Windows or HTML5 format at https://itch.io/jam/oc-tilted-game-jam)

RULES:

• Our game jams are usually physical, however the COVID-19 JAM has made us turn virtual, but the rules are the same.
• Total of $100 possible to the winners.
  • Must have paid entrance fee at https://ko-fi.com/tiltedshedstudios to win the prize
    • $50 Dollars for the team with the most scope creep by SHOWCASE time @9PM 
    • $50 at the next Tilted Game Jam to the overall winner, voted on by our judges (This can be submitted by no later than 1030 PM)
    • Tie breakers handled with paper, rock, scissors in our DISCORD Server.

• POINT SYSTEM ($50 to the winner)
  • Day of, three MadLib stories are shown, Pick one MadLib (6 points)
  • For each item in the MadLib missing in the game (-1 point)

• JUDGING REQUIREMENTS ($50 to the winner)
  • Does the game follow the theme (including scope creep)?
  • Is the game playable?
  • Was it submitted on time (1030 PM)?
  • Is there an achievable goal in the game? 
  • Most unique idea?
  • Most fun to play?
  • Best art appeal?
  • Does music match gameplay?
  • Most unique mechanic?
  • Uploaded in Windows EXE or HTML5 formats at https://itch.io/jam/oc-tilted-game-jam
