A jam to say "fuck you" to Adobe.

• Share your creation. Make sure to put links to non-Adobe software you used, in the game description.

This jam stands against hate, prejudice, and exploitative practices. If your contribution embodies or promotes these in any way, I reserve the right to ban it.

Bonus if:

• Your creation used open-source or public domain resources.
• You share platform alternatives to Adobe to fellow designers. Post them here!
• Accessibility is a conscious consideration.

Adobe sucks.

If you've ever needed to use any of their products, you know how painful it is to have to pay through the nose for their restrictive subscription plan. As of 25 April, paying for their apps is about as expensive as a plane ticket from the Philippines to the US, and with the latter, at least I get to see my sister—instead of being burdened with a huge, intrusive platform.

As the monopolistic "industry standard" that's been snapping up smaller companies since even before Macromedia, their sheer market presence pressures indie designers to cough up over 20 bucks a month for the privilege of accessing their platform. However, this doesn't have to be the case.

So, this game jam is a big middle finger to Adobe. Join this jam if you dislike their practices, if you need a final push to try other platforms, or if you're curious what other designers are using. There are many feature-filled tools out there waiting for you. Here's your chance.
