Process
The game jam ranking has 2 stages. In the first stage (lasting 1.5 weeks), the participants rate each others games. You can rate several criteria. Only the "Overall rating" criteria is used for ranking. Then, a jury will playtest the top 7 games of that ranking in front of the participants and select a top 3.
Criteria
- Overall rating (primary criteria): This is the criteria that determines the ranking.
- Gameplay: Was it fun to play?
- Technical Implementation: How well did the game work? Were there noticeable bugs?
- Game Idea / Theme: Did the game match the theme? Was it interpreted creatively?
- Graphic: How fitting and pretty were the graphics?
- Sound: Had the game a good sound atmosphere, music and sound effects?
