A lot of people don't using a GUI based game engine and I get that. Although it is probably more efficient to pump out a game for some this kills the experience of making a game. Something about doing more of the game your self makes your feel pretty awesome! This jam is for thoughts who need a bit more time to make a game cause of the extra work involved in doing a game this way and its to level the playing field a bit more. What are some examples of exceptable engine you ask?
Python - Pygame
C++ - OLC Pixel Game Engine
C - RayLib although to be fair raylib has bindings to pretty much any language.
Just look around and you will find a engine like this for your language or use SDL2.

RULES:
1) If your game is not a .exe file or a .jar file I will not open the game, If its a browser game please make it available on itch.
2). You can not use a engine that has a GUI.
3). You must submit a link to a github or gitlab for your game in the README I want to see what engine you used.
4). You may use free are and music in your game just please post links to it on your games itch page.
5). Time Limit is about 8 days starting on Friday 26.
6). You can make a game or a program just so long it falls under the theme of the Jam.
7). Please do not work on game/program until theme is announced in #jam-theme the moment jam starts. (on discord)
8). Must be a member of the discord to win.
9). Can be alone or with other members other the discord.
10). I will not be excepting ANY late submissions and they have to be submitted on itch for them to count.
11). Your itch.io name doesn't have to be the same as your discord but you need to let me know they are different by placing your game in #submissions.
