A new year, a new Desert Bus for Hope,  and with that comes a new Desert Bus for Hope game jam! 

For those who have not heard of it before, Desert Bus for Hope is a charity run in support of Child's Play.  Done every year, it goes for approximately a week while the cast and crew act for chats amusement in the pursuit of donations. 

The Desert Bus for Hope game jam starts shortly after the run begins, and ends a short time before the (expected) end. Nearly a weeks worth of laughs, headaches, and sleep deprivation to spread awareness of both Child's Play, and Desert Bus for Hope!

Last year the jam was brought to itch.io, and was a great success with 11 entries, and this year we are looking to repeat the wonderful results! Along with the Desert Bus theme, another (optional) prompt will be chosen at random when the jam starts. Above all else though the goal is to have fun, and help raise awareness of Child's Play charity.
