This is a quarterly jam held on the 23rd every 3 months, and runs for 8 days
(except each winter holiday edition: full 31 days to kick off the new year w/ alchemy jam!)

Brainstorm and sketch as much as you like before then!
▪ No NSFW content, extreme violence, or discrimination.
Aim for an ESRB rating of “E” for “Ecaroh’s Innocence is Preserved”.
▪ AI may only assist in generating concept art and finding code solutions
but not in creating final artwork or music, including thumbnails.
AI-generated games and thumbnails will most likely result in disqualification.

- 🍞 Kuro's Homemade Bread — Awarded to games made from scratch without an engine!
Q: Game engine requirements?
A: Use any game engine or framework you want, as long as it can be uploaded to itch.io for us to play!
Web builds are highly recommended.
Q: The ✨Theme Asset✨ is pixel art... do I have to make a 2D game?
A: You can remake the jam's pixel art asset in any style you want!
Just make sure it's still recognizable and has a similar vibe as the theme.
Q: Can I submit my game to multiple jams?
A: Check with other jam rules to be sure. As long as the jam phase overlaps with Alchemy Jam (give or take a couple days), you can submit it here.
Q: Do I have to rebuild, remix, or reimagine?
A: Nope! It's not a requirement, just an option!
