Watched Advertisments for roughly 15m.

If its best played with a Controller, let me choose menu Options with Joystick instead of only D-Pad.

Tutorial Question popping up after a while in the main Menu was weird.

Game also  ran in windowed fullscreen, causing my Taskbar to always be above the Game Screen.

Only displaying XBox Keybinds is bad. Either display XBox and Playstation, or switch based on what kind of Controller it is. When selecting Earth, the Camera moved weirdly off the Mission Select Screen first before the Dialogue played and it re-centered.

Mouse doesn't always disappear while playing, even if I'm on Controller.

Are you really advertising your own Game while I'm playing it? Really?

Blaster takes way too long to charge, pretty much forces me to take Damage, since it only hits in front of me.

Are you really advertising your own Game every Time I die while playing it? Really?

After this Advertisment, by spamming X fast enough, I unlocked the Graphics for Izit and the other Planets, but couldn't select them.

Found out Blaster is just missing its projectile. Still, even in the back row I'm almost always getting hit when using it, due to it being so slow.

Choosing the Demon Tutorial crashes the Game. At least I don't have to watch more Advertisement of a Product I'm already playing.

the UI beeps and boops are kinda loud.

maybe the game should pause when i'm holding C to check the cards?

Pretty cool! I've played Battle Network way back in the day, but I haven't really touched the FTL or StS-style games that seem to be the other half of the inspiration. I don't see any issues with the game's central premise, though splitting my attention between picking cards and focusing on positioning in real time was pretty rough on me.

The art was generally nice, but on my second playthrough the game opened with scene with bad guys conversing where all the portraits looked really bad or out of the style.

I played with a keyboard, and I felt like it played just fine.

Bugs I encountered;

After starting a run, the view scrolled so far to the left that the entire map out of view at the start. On my third run it focused on the starting node correctly though

One of the enemies flashed pure white (from damage, or its own attack, I don't remember) and didn't return to normal until I hit it

On picking start a new game after losing a run, the planet selection screen revealed all the planet graphics and focused on the wrong one (Izit and Randar were still labeled "???" in the menu). Also it wouldn't let me select any of the planets.

Not a bug, but seeing a(n unskippable?) trailer and being prompted to go to the store page at the end of every run felt a little aggressive. I'd suggest making the trailer skippable and just put a link to the store page in the main menu screen.

Thanks for playing! All the bugs you mentionned are bugs that I've known for so long that I kind of ignore them now personally, but you pointing them out makes me realize that I really need to fix them. Agreed on the trailer too, I'll definetly make it skippable at a minimum.

Where can I find the save files? I accidentally skipped most of the tutorial and I'd like to go back and view it again, but I can't find any way of doing it in-game, so my only other thought was to delete the save file.

Right off the bat, I noticed that the art and music were really good. The volume slider in the options menu was a bit buggy; the vertical bar can go too far to the left (I didn't check if it could go too far to the right). I also found a typo right at the beginning ("you hand" should be "your hand").

Looks really cool and I can tell you've put a lot of effort into it. Great job.

You can find the save files here, depending on your OS

Windows %UserProfile%/.prefs/Calamity Sanctuary
Linux and OS X ~/.prefs/Calamity Sanctuary

You can probably delete that whole folder to "start from scratch", but this makes me realize that there should be a "reset tutorials" option. Interesting about the music slider, will look into it. Thanks for playing!

I've never tried Battle Network so I'm absolutely not your target audience. Spoken that, I do believe artwork, look of the cards and overall style are great and consistent. Music does it's job and it was playable on the keyboard. Only useful remark I've got is one about difficulty, I was filtered hard on Earth and it's supposed to be 1/5 in terms of difficulty, it might be a good idea to let player learn through combat, go easy on him and then raise difficulty once he gets used to basic mechanics. But then again, fans of the genre are probably already familiar with them.

Game might not be for me, but it's certainly a lot of good work done, good luck to you.

Difficulty is always something I have trouble with, but I have had the suspicion that the game is too hard for a while now, so will probably need to make it easier. Thanks for playing!
