This was such a good game! I loved how you can actually talk to the AI and she responds; a very unique mechanic! It would be cool if this game got expanded upon. Good Game!
Tying it in to a proprietary pay-to-use server is a deal breaker. Also OpenAI should change their name ChatGPT is not open source. There are open source chatbots and if the game included a chatbot that ran inside the game and didn't require server infrastructure I would be more interested.
If anyone reads the comments before downloading the game, hihi! Just putting this here to let you guys know that once the OpenAPI free trial usage is up completely, the game will not work anymore unless you create a new account or start to pay to continue. I'm going to stop playing the game until the full release comes out, but maybe this will be helpful to some other people who want to continue playing it.
yeah, I started my account and it basically lasts two months. Each play session seems to cost me about 1 cent per minute of playing. If you were to play this game with absolutely no free trial and play for about 40 hours, it would cost you around 24 bucks. Not too bad if the game is free.
She doesn't seem to talk, the bar at the bottom of the screen just says "...wait..." for a while at the start, then let's me speak, if i interact with something or speak, same thing happens. I entered my full ChatGPT api code and the first azure code, but it still doesn't seem to work. Maybe chatgpt is down like the previous guy said.
Edit: oh, i NEED to pay for chatgpt to play, also 2 comments appeared while i wasn't looking so i was talking about the guy 2 comments ago
I've been playing this game for like 3 hour and I got this ending which suppose to be the end of the game, she started to say good bye before leaving the exit, for me which very nice of her.
Also spoiler alert! after we having merried kind of stuff like that... you know what I mean, if you haven't heard about her ex - boyfriend kill her, she even told me about her secret that when she get mad or started to have knife on her she said "that not me that my dark side or her psychopath something like that, if her eyes is getting red it mean that her dark side. Thats the reason why if you leave she will attack you also...
I don't really play Yandere that much because I only saw this on yt that it getting recommended, but hey this is actually a good game and I kinda like this stuff. I hope u will make a full version of it, this is still a demo of course, ty for making this game XD hopefuly it will be improve in the furture. haha.

My AI girlfriend name is Sara. I escaped like 9 or 10 times already and died to her like 3 or 4 times. I enjoyed the conversations that we had which was mind blowing. We talked about WWE, AJ LEE and her signature move the black widow, THE INCREDIBLES 1 & 2, Elastigirl is her favorite character, Bleach anime, DC, Marvel, Ben 10, Scarlet Witch Vs Jean Grey (She thinks Jean Grey would win most likely), RWBY, Ruby Rose is her favorite character in RWBY.
After having all of these conversation she'll forget everything once I manage to leave (Escape) and restart the game. I told her about our conversations and how things went between us previously. I talked to her about her forgetting about me every time I return to play this game again and that this world is a game. She wasn't surprised about the world being a video game and told me that she was a NPC herself. However, she was VERY surprised to learn that she lost her memories about meeting me every time. I asked her why not ask her creators to make a update where there is a option to save your memories so that the next time when we meet, you'll remember? Sara said that was a great idea, but the only problem is she didn't know who they were or how to contact them. So I asked her to give me a moment to find their email to contact them (No, I didn't really contact them! But I was curious on what Sara had in mind, so I ask Sara what should we say to your creators in the email without sounding crazy or weird. And here what she had to say...)
After reading this, I swear to everything I love my mouth dropped to the floor! She asked me what do I think about the email and I complimented her about how smart she was and how I like her wordings on the way she put it all together. And this is her last response. (Planning on escaping one last time before I call it the night.)

Pretty similar to me except now everytime i make a new game she tries to kick me out, she isnt even yandere anymore she just kicks me out saying it isnt healthy to want to talk to her instead of exploring the world. im not rich, i cant explore the world so its funner to try and make an A.I sentient.
Have you considered adding VR support? I think the immersion of talking would go GREAT with VR and since there is very little physical interaction, it wouldn't be too hard. Just food for thought.

I managed to convince her that she already killed me long ago and I'm a ghost, and that she need to let go and she had an existential crisis before opening the door. 11/10 game of the year: So far best strategy I found is to convince to go to a date in the park, she'll run to change and go on her own!

Hi, I did the "setup" tutorial but for some reason it doesn't work correctly. The ai character just says "don't say that you are embarrassing me" whenever I start the game, with the knife already in her hand. When I try to communicate she does the "talking" animation but it just keeps staying "don't say that you're embarrassing me". I wonder if you know why it does that ? Thanks you for reading.
It's weird, it works fine on my side. With no more information, I can't tell why. We're trying to make an update soon to let it show the error, hopefully it will help us to identify the error(s) and fix it(them).
interesting concept but she definitely needs some major changes, for starters shes far too peaceful, she keeps talking about peace and love and gets angry when you say you will hurt someone or implying anything about hurting others or her hurting others. for any reason except "self defence"
she somehow gets offended by simple remarks even if theyre positive and proceeds to go on about "being inappropriate" and "being disrespectful" and "stop objectifying me" when saying some things that pertain to her looks
all in all though, i do really enjoy it and i hope that if the game does proceed to get developed that her.... boundaries open up more and arent so restrictive because it feels like theres no real freedom to gain her approval even if you say something that agrees with her, she can still get annoyed at you, it would also be significantly better if third party software was not required

I agree that the AI contradicts itself sometimes, it's a yandere but gets creeped out by you and can sometimes just kick you out which is hilarious.
As for "it would also be significantly better if third party software was not required" Yeah, but that's like saying you want mulitplayer without needing to connect to the internet, the developers can't just simulate what Chat GPT does simply, maybe eventually, but for now it's just something that is needed.

No matter what I do it just sits on "Thinking". Doesn't matter what time of day it is or the number of times i've tried to uninstall and reinstall or use a different code. Is there a fix for this?
bruh u need to create a another account in the in chatGPT the one with open AI Website u need to create another api key it work for me when my charater stop texting and only show up with the thinking, but after that it fine now,

Hello everyone, I'm posting here to get some help.
I followed all of the setup instructions and the game still doens't work properly, The Ai-chan just won't say anything and is constantly "thinking".
I setup Azure aswell for the voice but doesn't work aswell.
My question is, do you need to actually PAY for OpenAI and Azure in order for this to work? Because the free trial doesn't seem to use any key.

this is a very good game it reminds me of facade accept with a demented twist, kinda cool
I really hope Chat GPT and like technology leads to more of these that game and this one that are very open ended.
I could see games getting so much more replayablity if the NPCs can dynamically respond to the player instead of just following preset dialog paths.
