我该怎么解锁画廊最后房间中第四个黄金箱子记忆呢?

How do I unlock the memory of the fourth gold chest in the last room of the gallery?

我已经因为打不开它而困扰很久。

I've been having trouble opening it for a long time.

希望能够得到答案。(顺带一提,这个游戏真的很棒!)

I hope to get an answer.(By the way, this game is awesome!)

Are you talking about the golden chest? You will have to lose to the tutorial encounter in the intro. Hope that helps

- RegalBuster

No, no, no, that's about giving up Kuno (maybe)Like the one in the picture

and another one

I don't think I'm understanding, the gold chest you circled in red does require you to lose the tutorial encounter, trust me

As for the 'ignored kuno' flag, that blue box is a fan story, and isn't a part of the actual game

As for the CG... I think it's been scrapped from the game, as it was supposed to be an intro image, sorry

- Regalbuster

Okay, thanks anyway. But there's always one box at the gallery that doesn't open, and I'm not sure if it's my problem. I'll show you when I'm done. Thank you ~

Will there be gallery in the future? Like important scenes or scenes when you got defeated by enemies.

There's a gallery at the end of the game's current story content.

so I did the forest part first finish it then getting the sand armor thing after that going to the desert with the smith and it seem to have broken the story sequence

The smith keep telling me to check the valley but going to the end of the valley  only bring me to the next area, finishing that area then going back to the smith but he still ask me to check the valley, going back to the base camp then he already there

Is there anyway to fix this? Cus i don’t want to redo the whole thing

If you've got the sand armour and you can enter the desert, then you don't need to go back to the valley or check on the blacksmith.

Just head on into the desert and continue the story. You're looking for something in the north-east...

If you can't get into the desert because the sand wall is turning you back... then you need to go and talk to the Wizard at the Inn so he can activate the sand armour for you!

Hope that helps.

no no, that not what I mean. I’m not a native speaker so it difficult to explain but there are two blacksmith, one in the desert asking me to check the valley(which I did it just bring me to the next area)  and one in the camp finished the stripper armor

It's just a small bug with the game's internal 'switches'. It should not stop you from completing the game and seeing all the content. If you can still go through the valley, go to the desert, get the stripper armour, then it's fine. Just ignore the two blacksmiths.

We are aware of this issue and have fixed it on our internal build.

ah, ok thank you!

A question have you removed the scene about the floodgates. AkA the pic on the game site i cant find it anywhere

No, nothing has been removed from the game. That scene should still take place during the Bandit Leader's game-over scene if you fight him.

What is Unmarked Key use for?

For use in a future update.

android waiter

Hey there, I really enjoy the game !

Quick question, how do you increase your corruption level ? I know there's one scene that requires you to have something like 7 levels of corruption, but I'm not sure about how to increase those.

Also, except for that scene, does corruption serve for something else ?

Once again, thank you for such a great game !

Generally speaking, you increase your corruption level by willingly making lewd, one-off choices during scenes, or letting yourself get grabbed and 'affected' by enemies such as the slime-dragon's slimesuiting.

Right now, that last thing I mentioned is a way that you can increase corruption infinitely (though it's a bit of a slow method).

Corruption right now changes the dreams you witness when you rest, it unlocks certain lewd scenes, and it can make certain lewd decisions automatically instead of offering you the chance to avoid them.

Oh I see, thanks for the answer ^^

I tried to let myself get "lewded" off of by blue slimes but it doesn't seem to increase my corruption at all. Unless I need to do it multiple times ?

Nah, blue slimes won't work.

You need to use the green slime dragons in the cave, get downed and slime-suited by them... or I think the slugs in the jungle work too, if you get defeated by them.

Oh I see

Alright then, thanks again for your answer ^^

Hey there, so apparently whenever I start a new game from scratch, oddly enough whenever I try to save the game it just won't save whatsoever in any save slots. Any help?

Interesting... not an issue I've heard anybody mention before now.

Just to check, you have extracted / unzipped the game and saved it locally, not on some kind of Cloud-based storage, correct?

Secondly... open the game and check that the 'save' folder actually exists. It should be in the 'www' folder in the same place you've saved the game.

If you've done both of those things and the game still won't save... the best thing I can recommend is a re-install.

(1 edit)

I'm currently in the cyber space part and I've been trying to get passed one of the rapidly changing purple/blue squares but so far I've just had to save scum it. Is there an easier way past or do I just gotta get good?

Edit: Never mind I figured it out, had to use the mouse and let the game control my movements. Also good game lads, keep up the good work.

Nicely done figuring it out. You CAN do it through keyboard controls but mouse-clicking is certainly easier.

Thanks a lot for the kind words about the game overall, and thanks a lot for playing!

No problem lad and yeah it can be done with keyboard controls but when it comes to the rapidly changing ones near the end of it, well, it was just easier to use the mouse. Still possible with the keys but just easier to do with the mouse.

It took me forever to get past that and now, only reading this since beating it, do I realise I can do this....Aheheheh.

Hey so, I can't even play the game. When I'm presented with the voice option, either choice presents the following message:

Error: EROFS: read-only file system, mkdir

Hmm, do you mind letting me know if you’re on Windows or Linux/macOS? If you’re on windows, be sure to have the game extracted into its own folder, and to not have it in a cloud drive folder. If you’re on a Linux distro or macOS, I’m afraid I’m not an expert on those fields so you may have to jump on the Discord to ask for assistance. Alternatively you could try downloading and running the game from the itchio launcher. I’ve heard that has fixed issues of game permissions for some.

- RegalBuster

Ah, I'm on macOS.

Easy fix! You need to tell OS to get the game out of quarantine. Open terminal and type in:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /[PATH OF GAME]/groverpgnsfw-macOS/GROVE_0.204_MACOS/Game.app

Just interesting, should we wait next update until summer? Not like I am impatient, just wander, otherwise I can wait any longer for this masterpiece

I really can't say when we expect the next update to come, as we're both busy with things like university and work.

Make sure to +follow here on itch, on RegalBuster's twitter, or even join the Discord, so you'll be informed whenever we have an announcement to make for future updates.

(-3)

Will we ever see women in the game? because boobs!

There might be some female NPCs in the future.

As for sexual content featuring women... doubtful, but I wouldn't say an absolute hard no.

(1 edit) (-3)

Thank you for the reply, i like the slime scenes but i was just wondering if we might get more variety of scenes, plus im not all that into dudes, so i gravitate to the ambiguous stuff, great art and sound design though, have high hopes for this game keep it up, im not knocking it. P.s. i completed the game and plenty of scenes were good.

Well, I'm glad you mostly enjoyed what you saw, even though this is definitely a male / male game first and foremost.

There'll certainly be more scenes and variety in the future, though I can't promise any female focused content. Still, hopefully you'll at least somewhat enjoy what's to come, when the next update arrives.

And when can we expect rhis update if you dont mind me asking? Plus im not trying to offend, i was just suggesting expanding your content variety to broaden your audience and revenue because mostly i like the game, its fun and many scenes look good, even though i prefere the ambiguous scenes like the jungle slugs and slimes, i was simply just suggesting female or even herm content for future updates to draw in more fans for the expanding game you have here, this is a good game and i just want to see it grow.

No offence was taken at your comments, don't worry.

Unfortunately, no idea when the next update will come. We're busy with university, jobs, and other social obligations, and as much as we enjoy working on GROVE, it's a side-project as opposed to our full-time commitment.

There appears to be a bug on the Linux version of this release.

Attempting to progress past the first map that loads after the intro sequence results in a loading screen that eventually ends in this error message:

Loading Error
Failed to load: img/doodads/Others/shadows_openingcliffpath1.png
["Retry" button]

As a workaround, the Windows version when run on Linux using Wine will load the next screen correctly (and the Itch desktop client for Linux will transparently make this happen in the background if told to install the Windows version instead of the Linux version).

This is likely caused by the case in the ‘Others’ folder name. Try changing it to a lowercase ‘o’ and it should run properly afterwards. A bit of an annoying bug that’ll hopefully be fixed in the next build.

- RegalBuster

The folder present in the Linux build is already named "others" (just like it is in the Windows build), but renaming it to "Others" seems to have resolved the bug (and allowed progression multiple screens further into the game).

Hey! Love the game but there's a problem. When I play and save the game, the next time I open it all the save files disappear. I can't load my progress which sucks. Tbh, i have this problem with all games made by rpg maker. Idk wether it's just my laptop or I'm doing something wrong...

(+1)

It sounds like you haven't actually extracted the game from it's ZIP / RAR file. If you don't do that, the game is effectively 'read-only' and none of your saves will actually save.

Make sure you've properly downloaded the game and make sure to extract the files locally on your computer.

(+1)

Oh, my bad... Thanks!

Hi, love the game. I'm so confused on how to progress though. Where are you supposed to go after finishing the Northern Gulch area with the blacksmith? The guide says to head east, but I'm not finding any new areas

After the desert place, correct? You are gonna want to head to the left of the tavern/inn back to where you first started, and you will see a new path going down. That's where the 3 adventurers went.  Hope this helps!

(+1)

I REALLY enjoyed it so far, this is some top quality, naughty game in my opinion, with a nice bit of humor.

CARROTS!! owo

(+1)

Thank you for your kind comments!

(1 edit)

After waiting for two months, when can I update it? I have been looking forward to it.

(+1)

Not any time soon, sorry. You’ll need to be patient as we’re working at our own pace, and had just finished our break after the 0.2 development rush. Starting to get busy here as well as studies are resuming soon.

-RegalBuster

Will this game have APK file for android in the future?

Maybe, but it’s something we’re not considering at the moment

How can I get the latest version of apple in the flowchart

I notice when fighting the naga, if you wait, the naga will use "Enthrall" as an action in battle, but it doesn't seem to do anything.  Not sure what it's supposed to do.  Love the game otherwise, very enjoyable!

The naga's "Enthrall" attack has a few different results, depending on how many times it's been used, and if you're dressed or not.

If it's appearing to have no effect at all... then please make sure you're playing the most recent version of the game, v0.204. There was a bug in the older versions that stopped it from working correctly.

(+3)

Honestly, one the best NSFW adventure games I've played in a while. Great job guys and continue! :)

(+3)

Thanks for your kind words~

Waiting is really a distressing thing.

I need some help. Im in the desert and i cant seem to find where to go ive gotten to the cabin and the cave area but i cant find where to go from there am i blind or is that the end of this version.

there is a shady place in the right side

Thanks

did you get stuck the same way as i did? i though shade means to stay near some wall where there appears to be a little bit of shade, but i passed that part already, myself

as in shade you have to look for the parts on the map that looks to be below geound like a crevice type area. I got stuck since i got a black screen covering like 8 blocks wide on the right and left side of the map so i had to randomly search in the black screen area for the way.

yeah I know I passed the part already but i didn't get it at first, what's considered shade or not

i yhink shade is considered a darker area close to a wall or a crevice areas. Tho shade is only used in the dessert area so thats like the best explaination i know

How to get the stripperific armour

After acquiring the 'tattered fragments' from the bandit hideout, and delivering them to the Blacksmith, he'll make that armour for you after you've completed the main story so far.

The bandit hideout...meaning from the underground cave one?

So where do I get the tatter from the hideout?

(+1)

lose to a bandit, get captured, then escape from your cell and recover your armour in the middle kitchens / storage area.

-RegalBuster

Ah snap...i need to replay everything then...

(+1)(-1)

等待真的是一件让人苦恼的事情。

Hey guys! Just got a query for tips regarding the desert scene after you've gotten the cloak and enchantments. I start wandering the desert, following the darker path but quickly find myself getting exhausted and without anything that's obvious shelter. Am I being blind or is there something I missed?

Walking repeatedly in 'shade' spaces will eventually cause your exposure to lower and give you more time to wander the desert! Keep an eye on the UI and sound effects to know when you get more stamina.

I managed to make it to the cabin but I really feel it's either not clear enough or too harsh in its present state.

Considering I made it to the cabin by the skin of my teeth I'm certainly not eager to continue on into the desert, especially with an apparent lack of auto-skip for defeat scenes meaning I gotta mash the spacebar to be rid of the mirage defeat scene.

(+1)

A'ight I clearly can't understand anything as I sat in the cabin the entire time I was writing that reply. And immediately fucking Game Over'ed the moment I took five steps out. I'm probably going to wait on the next update because this is genuinely infuriating atm.

(+1)

As I said, "walking repeatedly" in the shade.

It's steps taken, not time.

Twitter follow 'RegalBuster'

I watch it every day, especially looking forward to it and paying attention to the follow-up story. I hope you can tell me about when it can be updated.

Thank you for being so eager to see an update. You should +Follow the game, and if you have a Twitter account, follow 'RegalBuster' in order to be up-to-date on any announcements and inclusions!

We hope you'll enjoy the update when it finally arrives!

is it possible that in the new update it will be possible to seduce opponents?

Значок "Проверено сообществом"

Hmmm the easiest way to seduce the enemies is to "Present Yourself"

hey i have a question how do I install the language patch?

Why can't we directly own corrupt equipment, but we must transform it? Can't you just set it to be highly corrupt and wearable?

hello I have a question, how do I get "corruption"?
(+1)

Various events and grapple sequence failures may lead you to gaining corruption. Keep an eye out on the purple veiny HUD effect that appears, as that would indicate an increase in corruption.

If you would like to know where you can specifically source corruption, be sure to take a look at Qazm’s handy Grove timeline linked at the bottom of the game page.

-RegalBuster

How do you get Slimed by the Slime Dragons?

Failing a grapple sequence with enough STM to survive should lead you to getting slime suited.

- RegalBuster

hello love the game so far. But im kinda stick right now i know you're suppose to get a item from the wizard in order to go into the desert area past the purple slimes. I already talked to the commander in the quiet clearing. And when i talk to the wizard he only gives the option to buy stuff. So im not sure if im missing a step or if the game is bugged.

plz help me out :'(

ty for your time

Have you cleared the Southern Jungle area yet? Be sure to do all of that as you’ll get a particular item that is required to traverse through the desert. Talking to the newcomer and the wizard comes afterwards.

- RegalBuster

Oh i see now. thank you for responding.

great player support :D

When will it be updated?

Not too soon, but we’re working on it. We’d rather not give out any estimates just yet as we’d rather work at our own pace.

- RegalBuster

started playing this game late last week... and i freaking LOOOOVE ITTTT!!! <3 i'm a huge fan of Corruption themes which is the tag that brought me here, and basically EVERYTHING you guys have put into this has blown away all the expectations i had for getting into another in-development Furry/Scaley adult game! remarkable overall game, awesome storyline, and sexy, SEXY scenes!! <3 <3

figured i'd mention some issues ive had in a couple of my playthroughs that seem like genuine bugs, but overall my playthroughs have been pretty smooth! playing the Windows Version btw. sorry in advance if this is a hugely-long comment, but i'm a meticulous thorough dude and i'd rather get all the bugs ive found in writing before i start forgetting stuff. ^^;

-biggest repeatable issue ive had is in the Desert section in the North in every playthrough ive done so far. it seems everywhere where the "Sun/Overheating countdown" effect is active, my game lags so much that i'm actually surprised i can move anywhere without crashing. the lagging reduces when im on a shade-tile, like inside the Shack out of the sun, but does not go away and character still skips while moving, though nowhere near as bad as outside in the sun. the lag goes away completely when i fall into a pitfall/cave. but comes right back at the same lag intensity when i emerge into the desert. i barely made it to the Bunker just from the lag alone.

- another Desert Glitch, when Grove collapses from heat exposure i found something like an exploit glitch that will allow you to keep going. if a Shambling Mirage is alerted/chasing you at the time you collapse, and the text-box saying you collapsed is on-screen, waiting for the Mirage to reach you before advancing the text-box to the Game Over scenes will trigger a battle and override the Game Over before it activates. you then defeat or escape the enemy, and you'll be back in the desert with more steps available before you collapse again.

- the Chaperone Computer level (from the Bunker) is also a little laggy but nowhere near as bad as the Desert. however it's laggy enough to make the timing-based sprint-puzzles EXTRA hard, and getting sent back to the beginning of the path every time is rage-inducing. ^^; if challenging puzzles like this are gonna happen more and more, i really wish i could load a save right from the "Save Game" menu option instead of having to "End Game" to go back to title, then "Load Game" every time i mis-time it or lag, and step on the purple.

-ive noticed that a few different effects on the Player seem to cause tiny lags in movement, like eating the strange fruit on the Farm and having the arousal building as you walk causes tiny skips as opposed to normal smooth walking and spriinting movement. i'm wondering if its specifically step-count based effects or statuses that seem to be laggy for me? thats what it appears im observing.

- i also experience lagging on the QTE sequences for trying to escape both the Mimic in the caves, and the Pod-Plants in the Jungle. i hit the keys as they appear, but they seem to linger on the key i just hit too long after, and i appear to be timing out or hitting an incorrect key since im looking too long at the one ive just hit. feels like lag when i hit an arrow-key that makes it impossible to keep good timing and escape. ive never beaten any of those QTE's yet as a result. which makes me really glad they're optional/avoidable

-other than that, i went on a corruption-gathering rampage over the weekend, literally farming the "Slime Coat" scene when submitting to the Slimed Dragons and gaining a corruption + 1 every time, then burning the slime off, sleeping, running back, and repeating. i wanted to see what a super-high corruption level would do to effect the game and dialogue from as early a point in the story as i could. so... i got a corruption level of literally 50 before i stopped farming, and it seemed to break the "Check Corruption" option at the book in Room 102. it read the corruption level just fine while i was checking it while gaining corruption, until i advanced the storyline by another major event/chapter, checked it again, and it didnt display anything but an empty text box. i pretty sure i still had the corruption present as a stat cause i was able to trigger the tent-scene west of the Inn just fine once the merc captain showed up. not sure the game knows what to do with 50+ corruption lol! ^w^ (took me like 2 real hours to gather that much sweet corruption lol, i wanted to see if i could make Grove's eyes permanently purple like Turon/the Smith)

those are the biggest things i found worth mentioning, there are several dialogue-based errors like grammar and spelling mistakes and such, but they dont really break the immersion and i'd have to play through again and document em specifically to list them. again, sorry if this is too long a bug report for a comments section, but i really freaking LOVE this game and im hoping my input helps! ^w^

Thanks for the kind, and long, comment on the game! Glad you largely seemed to enjoy your experience playing it, and hope we can continue to please you with content moving forward.

To that end, do make sure you're following us on FA / Twitter / Itch.io itself so you'll know when more is on the way!

As for your comments on the bugs and issues, I can say that these are all unfortunate but known issues. Some stuff is fixable, such as the desert and virtual area. Some stuff we aren't touching yet, like the Corruption counter, since there's no need / content at such a high number. Some stuff like the QTEs are a little more complicated... and I can't make any promises. We may put out one more 'stability patch' in the near future to help fix for folks.

If and when we do, we'd greatly appreciate your input to see if the lag and bugs persist. In the meantime, thanks again for playing and have a nice day.

Thanks! ^w^ following ya on FA and Here already, this is DEFINETELY a game i wanna keep track of <3 <3

happy to help where i can with reporting bugs and stuff, though i didnt realize all of these were already known issues though ^^; i'll prolly stick to reporting back on stuff when updates occur from now on so that im hopefully not repeating known stuff again ^^; still, ive fallen deeply in lust with this game and am happy to help out in any way i can ^w^ <3

We've a lot of very cool folks on the game's Discord who help give bug-reports. That being said, I also absolutely welcome repeated mentions, because it gives us a good idea of how prevalent a problem may or may not be. If only one person has a funny little issue, or if a whole bunch of folks suffer from the same thing, it helps a lot with prioritising. So please do not feel dissuaded from sharing your thoughts, both positive and negative regarding the game.

So I have 2 gamesaves 0.201 and 0.204 and I'm surprise that I have these items(Mystery Vial & Azure Band) in 0.201. Did I miss something in 0.204 cause I don't have it?

(+1)

Both of those items can be acquired in the Bandit Hideout. The Mystery Vial is from examining a shelf near the entrance to the bandit leader's room. The Azure Band is from freeing and talking to the captured worker in the southern cells, after completing the bandit hideout one way or another.

I think there should be a scene, when you go relaxing to a pond with Kuno :D

(+1)

really , how ?

No, I mean it would be cool to have it :D

(1 edit) (-1)

I love progressing through this game!
Unfortunately I've hit a complete stop - normally I have good reflexes and timing, but for some reason CHAPERONE -ERROR's tiles change also lag my device to the point where moving is completely guesswork.. the lack of a checkpoint or atleast a quick load button is also making it feel tedious.

At the time I wrote this comment, I was using an old laptop from late 2010's that ran well for most of the game until this level.

Sorry if my problem sounds so trivial..!

Hey, sorry to hear you've had trouble with this section. Unfortunately we're not quite sure what the cause is... some high-end computers struggle to run it, some low-end computers handle it just fine...

Whatever the case may be, my best recommendations would be to use mouse-click controls, play the game windowed and shrunken down, closing any other intensive software you might have running in the background, and making sure you're playing the v0.204 build.

If you need to update your game version, the save file transfer guide included should help make it so you don't lose any progress!

I made it through but i had to savescum like a motherfucker to do it, i get hit and quit out and reload to get back and try again and again, even blindly sometimes too, but it is one hell of a slog to do, thank god thats over, that was just painfull, took me forever because of the lag.

I'm so excited for more! Always gonna support this
