This is so cool, can't wait to see where it goes!

This is a really good stat, cute art, simple ui, and a good character creator base. I will watch your future with great interest.

This game is insanely cute and I'm looking forward to it getting updated!

AAAAAA!!! no puedo esperar a verlo completoo, se ve muy cool

(+1)

I absolutely cannot wait for the entire thing! It looks so cute!!

(+2)

I spent a stupidly long time on the character creator which was very fun. The gameplay of assigning elves to tasks sounds fun. Would love to see this game grow!

(+3)

you should add from whats it in  browser to the game

This is super cute!!! Love the idea and can't wait to see what else is in store.

!Sorry if any of my grammar or punctuation doesn't make sense/ is wrong, I can't write correctly for the life of me :,D!

Looks amazing so far, personaly I've never really played/liked games about building towns and stuff kinda like that, but I sure will love to play and see where this game goes!(Plus I love the range of customization and everything looks so cute! :D)

Notes/glitches I've found:

1. I've found out that at the tent we start at the thing glitches and I can walk over it.

2. I've found out that when you skip the tutorial that the person named Alerion glitches and you can't talk or interact with them at all.(Have not checked this with multiple tabs/reloaded pages)

3. When I first did this and went through the tutorial for some reason I had not gotten the prompt to inspect the tent at the bottom right corner.

4(NOTE). OMG WUIFHBSHBD I DOWNLOADED THE 0.0.7, ITS SO COOL! I CAN SIT OMG WIHFEUIXABHHEJFWNEJFNJ, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

ive only played this game for 5 minutes and i already consider all the characters my children. is this a bad thing?

Seems cute, character custom design is about as far as I got.  I didn't see a way to enlarge the screen so trying to focus on a small box gets straining.  Good effort tho.

I suggest maybe zooming in your screen with a mouse.(if your on like mac, laptop, or PC) Sadly I don't know anyway to try and zoom in on mobile, hope this helps.

Edit: I have found a way for mobile(I'm pretty sure it will work) Okay so first go into your browser like chrome(which was what I tested this on, not sure how to will work on other browsers) put in the URL(this is the URL:https://paranoodle.itch.io/elf-game) then in the right upper corner it is three dots, there should be a option if you tap on it to zoom. Just press the plus sign until its better on your eyes, hopefully this helps if your on mobile :>

I really love the idea. Can't wait to see what else is in store. I adored the demo. The art style is so cute and I love my character. I hope to be able to play fullscreen when it is finished up. To see it in all its beauty. 10out of 10 with what I've seen so far.

This looks really cute so far! I'm excited to see where it goes!

Wow, this is amazing! I love the art and the level of customization there is! The elves talk in such an interesting way and I can't wait for this game to be finished! Five thumbs up to paranoodle and anybody else who might be working on this, if anybody else is!

this game is so good oml i cant wait for it to be finished i am going to explode

This looks super adorable can't wait for it to be finished!! :)

I love it already- I would love to see the finished product!

This is very adorable, I can't wait to see the finished product <3

I would like to rate this a 6/10. It's intresting to see the dialog of the characters when you speak to them, simply because they reply in ways as someone you speak to on a daily basis in real life would reply. I also enjoy the character creation options, exspecially how the eyes highlight themselves. It's quite satisfying, it really gives the type of player you want to be an exzileratingly haunting vibe. However, the elf with brown hair at the end of the town? It won't let me speak to her in order to continue the demo! Therefore I can't give it a higher rating since I can't see the demo-game to the end.

I had this problem too! But maybe go through the tutorial, since when I skipped it I couldn't talk to them at all too.

(+2)

Can we use the character creator for commercial use, game avatars?

(+2)

avatars are fine in places where you can give credit (such as on a related profile, etc, so someone seeing it can know where it's from), but i'm not okay with commercial use or use in other projects. thanks for asking!

THIS IS SUCH A CUTE GAME! I absolutely love the art style and customization options. (Heterochromia and freckles and body markings? Hell yes) Not to mention, FINALLY A GAME WHERE I CAN BE ADDRESSED WITH THEY/THEM PRONOUNS! I can not stress this ENOUGH. In one too many games, I've had to pick either guy or girl with no option to choose non-binary, which SUCKED because I'm non-binary irl, so that meant I kept getting misgendered in games. So THANK YOU for adding this awesome feature, and I can't wait until the full demo gets released!!!!

Bruh this is literally an elf game, what? Like, the URL actuall says- paranoodle.itch.io/elf-game. Read the last eight digits of that? ELF-GAME. You literally got angry because all the characters in an elf game, were elves. Plus, there is infact an option for normal human ears and no tail sooo-

I remember playing this demo in 2019 and hope to be able to play the full game soon <33

OMG the art style, im in love

(+2)

This demo is wonderful, and I love the character creator! However, I would really appreciate some bangs that pair better with the afro, right now they all look a bit odd.

(+2)

thank you! there's more hair pieces (bangs, back, etc) planned for the future including some designed to pair with it, they just weren't implemented yet as of the last demo

(+1)

Np! :D Thank you for the demo!

I like this game a lot, but i would like more male hair options in the character creator. (I'm trying to make myself)

thank you! i'm planning on adding more short hair options in the creator, if that's what you mean, but for the record all the characters currently in the game including the player character are non-binary.

very cool! that is exactly what I meant. (not to say that girls cant have short hair)

i love this so much!! keep doing what you're doing!

demo was so fun and cute! the style is really soothing. joined the discord and im excited for your future updates!!!

i love this demo! so excited to watch it progress :>

Aaw this is such a cute game! I love the style so so much, I'm excited to see how the game evolves in the future! 💖

this is great so far! can't wait to see the future of this game! :D

love it very cute!

A very cute game and I hope that more gets released soon. I can tell that there’s a lot of love out into this project!

The demo is super cool and I like how we can still walk around after the demo is over

This is so lovely! This has so much potential. I can't wait until this is completed. I honestly love when games have adorable customizable characters.

P.S. I'm enby and I love the agender elves ;) <3

i got "undefined is not an object (evaluating 'GLctx.getParameter')" :((

ah, sorry to hear that! is this on the browser version or one of the downloads? if it's the browser it might be related to you missing one of the webgl/webassembly prerequisites, and downloading might work better. if it's on download then i have no idea but i'll try to look out for it next time i build (whenever that is)

ooh, I'm wanting to make a similar style game, kind of like Stardew Valley, what engine did you use and was it hard to learn/navigate, also how much was it :D

I also want to say that this game is beautiful so far! I hope this takes off!

it's listed in the FAQ, but i use godot for this! it's a free engine, and how hard it is to learn/navigate is going to vary wildly based on your previous experience, i'm a programmer by trade so i had a significant head start. i really like using it though, it's an especially nice fit for pixel art in my opinion.

thank you for the kind words! i'm excited to get to work on it more when i can :)

Oh tysm for replying! I probably should have looked at the FAQ before commenting, I hope you don't mind, heh heh. I will certainly look into it, thanks for telling me ^^

32 bits exe, can enable in your project "fallback to GLES2"? (no opens)

It's amazing at first but sometimes it wasn't letting game press e to talk I  was pressing e but it did work but i love i

nvm  i just cant talk to the last person
