Hi Cherry how areyou,I'm new here and I also would like to say thank you for letting me and everyone who is a fan of your creation be part of your world,what you have done for us is amazing and special,I am especially feeling grateful to you for letting me expirience this rich Middle Eastern  cculture,being an African myself i fell in love instantly with your story and hope to be part of AToC until the conclusion,if its not too much to ask may I please have a link to chapter 5. I absolutely love this game. Such a beautiful world and characters that simply draw you in. Not to mention the flawless incorporation of gender, pronouns, and personality. (Unlike some Twine-based games, I felt as though my character was real and I became immersed in the storytelling). At first I couldn't decide who to pursue, but...Azad here I come :-)

This is such a wonderful game. I'm obsessed with it. You've built up such an interesting world, with characters that immediately grab your reader's attention. There are so many minor characters that I half-wished were love interests lol. I look forward to seeing what happens next! Especially when things with Azad just started getting juicy 👀

This is a fantastic read, several times I've laughed out loud at the antics these characters get into and been all round very impressed with the vivid imagery that has been painted for me. Keep up the great work!

I am simply in love with this story. I was heartbroken when I reached the last update ^^ The plot is interesting and the universe is really charming. All the characters are lovely they all have their own stories and mysteries and traits, they are all fun to be around with. It was a pleasing immersive experience and I'm looking forward to the next chapter! this is amazing work I'll try giving money net time i have a commission because this work deserve all the support! <3

I just finished second chapter and I am already fully pulled in. I love everything. The characters, the world... Even just the option to choose your height. It's such a small thing yet it makes you enjoy the story so much more. I never comment because English isn't my first language but I had to tell you how much I love it!

Omg you just don't know how happy I am to read this I feel in love with this text base story, I was very worried at first cause I know it's hard for me to love something that is text based BUT THIS RIGHT HERE GOD I'm in love it grabbed my attention so quick and I'm only on chapter two(already all caught up on chapter 5) . Also I don't know who I like, Xelef/Xelara personality draws me in so much but then theres Rozerin/Rezan who is so calming and really easy to talk to. Lol idk who I like all the characters have something unique to grab your attention.

I just want to say you have a new supporter and I will try my hardest to support this story cause it deserves it I'm in love you just don't under stand.

I kept clicking on the blank chapter six page, hoping that it wasn't over, but it was! This was amazing! I was a bit hesitant to starting a text-based game, but the customization pulled me in (along with a tiny voice in my head that said, "You read fanfiction; you can-at the very least-read this!" And I'm so glad I did!). 

I can't wait for the next chapter, keep up the AMAZING work! 

This is so great! I was dubious about starting a completely text-based game just because my attention span hasn't been the best lately and I was afraid I'd drop off after a few clicks, but the writing is so wonderful and vivid and the world is so fascinating that I played the available chapters in couple days. Loved every bit of it.

I kind of want to re-play just to get all the content, but I don't know if I could handle picking anyone other than Azad.

Anyway, terrific work!

This game made me such a happy Lady! ( I love reading,RP , fantasy, and studying culture and history so this kind of setting with some fantasy too hit that happy little niche for me)

Hello !! ( please forgive my english in advance, I'm not a native english speaker!) 

I just wanted to tell you that this one of the best text-based game I have ever played!  It's amazing ! The story is beautifully written and at times, I feel like I'm really living it ! I have never been that immersed in a story, although sometimes I have some difficulties to understand a few words but that's only because I'm French ahah :)

Also the characters are all so endearing in their own ways that it is difficult to choose one ahah ! You really have a great talent in writing , don't ever stop  ;) 

But, I was wondering about something...Unfortunately, at the end of chapter 4 I got a " Bad END". What does that mean ? I thought I was doing everything right...? 

It may be due to a wrong choice of mine, right ?  But I don't know what to do now...Do I need to restart the entire game ? 

Can you enlighten me ? I really would like to continue playing your game which is, I say it again, amazing.

Hi!! I literally just made this account so I could support you and tell you what an amazing job you've done so far!! I love to play these types of games and I keep coming back to yours to check on updates. I honestly think your characters are super interesting and I usually get attached to one character, but this time I couldn't choose, they're all so amazing. The writing's great and doesn't get repetitive or boring, so you can keep on rereading it. And honestly, you're my inspiration to continue writing myself! So to keep it short, keep up the good work and if you're considering writing more after you finish this, I'll be right there to support it! :D

Love it. Going in for the second play through but stumbled across something I'm curious about. On my first playthrough, for no particular reason, I went with a non-binary (going by they) Crown who was attracted to both men and women. In that I noticed that Xelara was a women, as was Lady Rozerin, and Dara and Azad were both men. And going by the lovely artwork on this page I figured that those were the genders they were originally intended to be and/or written as. For my second playthrough I wanted to switch things up (naturally) so I went with a male Crown, but I wanted to stick with the dynamic I had before since I was attached to the crew like that so I again picked to be attracted to both men and women thinking that everyone would be the same as before. 

But, I noticed that Xelara and Dara had flipped genders. Which made me curious about whether or not Xelara was strictly homosexual (the princess ex and "you sedoosed my mum!!!"  guy were also big hints) and Dara straight or something and it just doesn't apply in a situation where the Crown is nonbinary. So then I tried to do it with a female Crown, again attracted to both men and women. That time it was Rozerin and Azad's turn to flip.

 So now I'm wondering if it's set up like Rozerin and Dara are straight and will always be the opposite gender of the Crown and Xelara and Azad are gay and will always be the same gender as the Crown. Is that right? Or am I reading to much into it? Also sorry for writing so much! to be fair though I had to read way more of your writing so I guess karma do be a bitch like that sometimes lol. 

I absolutely adore everything about "A Tale of Crowns:" the background of the main character, as well as the world itself, is so different and vast with culture, the characters make me want to tease them all equally, and I love how each action seems to help define the main protagonist. I'm definitely looking forward to all future updates and narratives. Keep up the good work! ^_^

this is like, the 4th game ever ive played on this website, but i know im gonna be enamoured by it for a long while.

You've made me very happy

As a non-binary person, I love that you made a world where it's not a big deal to be non-binary, and the main character isn't the only non-binary person in my play-through! It feels natural, which is lovely. I also like how it's part of protocol to introduce yourself with your pronouns. 

This is a very original game. If it were a novel, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. The lore is immersive, and the romanceable characters are ALL likable! That's so rare! This was so much fun, and I can't wait for the next chapter! : D 

This shit is so good like I'm over here struggling to pick who to romance THEY'RE ALL SO PRECIOUS AND I'M TOO GAY TO MAKE A PROPER DECISION. Gonna have to play it multiple times. That seems to be the only solution. I do hope you take care of yourself while writing and that you enjoy working on it as much as I enjoy reading it.

Brilliant! Where do I even begin? I will try to be brief on each point so as not to drag on forever. (Which I most certainly could)

The characters are wonderful. Not just the LIs, but the side characters as well. Each character felt distinct in their own way. As to the LIs, I absolutely adore Azad.

The setting is refreshing. I've been looking for good non-western fantasy, and this is it. The lore is positively intriguing, and I find myself wanting to know everything about the world's history.

The story, captivating. It's the kind that leaves you thinking about what will come next when you really ought be sleeping.

Pacing deserves it's own section. A lot of romance games rush the relationships, making them feel unearned when one steps back to look at it all. I have only played through Azad's so far, so I cannot speak to the others, but his has been phenomenal thus far. (Truly, the world needs more slow burn romance games, so many are far too hasty.)

The MC. First off, the customization level is wonderful, truly. Beyond that, this is one of the few romance games that truly feels like it is written for anyone. In a genre that is more traditionally female-oriented, even those games with options for a male (or nb) mc often feel as though they were written with a feminine player in mind. The mc did not feel overwhelmingly feminine, nor masculine here. They just felt like a person, and it was truly lovely. Beyond that, the traits system is really well done, seeing it affect actions in the more passive moments really helps to cement the mc in as an individual rather than a prescribed character with occasional sway over the situation. 

And, at last the writing. I think my above comments have made it more than clear, but the writing is phenomenal.

In summation, I adore this game. Amazing work, I cannot wait to see where things go!

Hi, this is amazing. But you did not have to make Rozerîn that adorable. Regardless of all that adorable stuff, I cannot wait for more.

I haven't fallen in love with a story and the characters this fast in ages. The writing and, just /flails hands/ THEM. All of them. I love visual novels and games like Dragon Age (I am either projecting really strongly or I could swear there was a reference there lol), but also text based adventures. It's so hard for me to get hooked, though. And then I found this and fell in love at the prologue alone. Even if there was no romance, I am thoroughly hooked.

Thanks for this amazing work, I am still on chapter 4 and sad to think I'll reach the end at ch 5 and then I'll have to wait, but I guess great things are worth waiting for!♡ It also helps me with my English. I'm not a native speaker, but I understand everything without a problem!

Thank you for making it, for me it's a little ray of sunshine in these trying times. For now all I can do is share the game with my friends, but in the future i hope to support it financially too!

Also, do you think there will be a few more interactions with background characters? I know it's a bit wishful thinking on my part but I adored interacting with Tujo and Heval, and hope to see them more!

Wow, I just played trough all of the routes avalaible, and I'm impressed! I loved the game. I was a bit taken aback when I saw it was text-based (I thought it was a visual novel, seeing the illustrations of the characters xp I should have looked better at the screenshots!) but I gave it a go and my, I'm not dissapointed!

The writing and plot are on point, the characters natural and likable and our protagonist is well-written too (her actions and thoughts make sense, and she is not one of these insuferrable brat that protag sometimes are). The customisation of the protag traits is a good idea too. I can be the Crown how I want them to be thanks to that. The story got me hooked too (I came for the romance, stayed for the plot and the story-telling!) (and the romance too, aha), I've got so many questions as to what's going to happen next! (Who's really her father aaah)

I loved the characters, especially Xelef and Dara. Their interactions with the protag are really enjoyable! I'm so hyped up to see how their relationships will evolve. I just have a question: seeing as there is already some art of the characters, do you plan on including some illustrations of them during the story?

I really thank you for making this game and making it free. However, should you put it for a price later, I would gladly pay for it! It's honestly worth it.
