Hello there! From the creator of Ace Jam, here's a new "game" jam that isn't actually just about games! This jam is about making zines in a short period of time, with a broad interpretation of the word "zine." Don't know what a zine is? Well, traditionally, a zine is a self-published booklet, generally made and distributed by one person or small group of people. Zines have their own underground subculture devoted to making, buying, trading, and collecting them. Most zines are made with photocopiers or home printers and stapled or sewed together by hand. Some people make zines without the use of any computers. Zines are about DIY, about community, about writing whatever you want without worrying about having to go through gatekeepers. Anyone can make a traditional zine as long as they have access to paper and writing implements!
But for this jam, we're going a step further! We're including e-zines, zines that are also video games, even self-published books and visual novels/Twines/etc. As long as you're making it yourself or with a small group with a DIY aesthetic, it counts! Interpret "DIY aesthetic" however you wish.

Zines can be about anything! If you're having trouble with ideas, consider:
