This is the Zelda 4 Zelda Game Jam.

This is a game jam to create that Zelda like game you have always wanted to make. 

I am excited about the new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. I am so excited I have preordered two copies of the game. One for me and one for the winner of the Zelda 4 Zelda Game Jam. It is important to remember this incase you join a team.

 Unconventional Weapons

Must Pick between one of the Nintendo Systems from the list. The system you pick is the system your game needs to be based around. The game controls and the games look and feel must represent that system. 

The game entry should be inspired by Zelda games. What am I looking for.

• Open World / Exploration
• Dungeon Rooms
• Puzzles
• Collectible Items
• Weapons and Enemies
• Progression Items
• Characters
• Story Line

You do not need to include All of the list but the more you do the better. 

Pick from one of the systems listed below. 

Don't break the rules: do your best to finish your game within the Zelda 4 Zelda Game Jam deadline. Teams are not allowed in this game jam. If you form a team only one copy of the game will be given away to the winning game. 

I want to see games that are highly influenced by Zelda. The game must be built in the time frame of the game jam. No games built before the game jam will be allowed. You can choose your favorite game type 2D or 3D. 

Assets:

Must use original work, assets you have the rights to use, and your preferred game engine.

Maintain a clean and kid-friendly environment for the games. 

Games will be judged by:

• Visuals: Everything in your game should feel like it belongs together.
• Gameplay: How well does your game play? Are the controls comfortable? Does it make sense?
• Theme: How creative and innovative is your use of the theme?
• Enjoyment: Your game should be fun to play. 
• Audio: The sounds of a game can take a game farther than expected. 
• Limitation: The best use of the limitation.

The 1st place winner of the Zelda 4 Zelda Game Jam will receive a Digital Copy of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom for the Nintendo Switch.
