• During this event developers will be challenged to create a 2D game in 48h based on a certain THEME (which will be revealed  when the jam starts on this page). 
• This game jam is RANKED, meaning that the game you make will be rated by me and the other developers having made a game during the jam.

Theme: "OPPOSITES" you are free to interpret the theme in your own way. 

Goal is to make a game that has backwards features. Such as controls, gameplay, graphics

1. Your game should be 2D. You can use any engine or tools you want as long as the final game is 2D.
2. You cannot submit a game that was made before the jam. Also, it is preferred that all assets are created during the 48 hour jam time. You can use premade assets, but you MUST declare them!
3. You can work solo or as part of a team of any size.
4. Do not submit a game that features excessive/offensive violence, gore or jump scares. Try and make something suitable for all ages!
5. No NSFW content or any content that could be considered racist/sexist/homophobic etc.
6. Please keep any discussion with fellow jammers respectful, and just be nice in general!

• OVERALL : after having played the game, how do you feel ? Would you play it again ? What is your overall impression of the game's quality?
• THEME : how well did the game respect the theme of the jam ? 
• VISUALS : is the game pleasing to the eye ? Does it have a unique, interesting art style ? Are the animations smooth and appealing ?
• INNOVATION : did this game do something new and interesting ? Was there a unique mechanic ? Was the story original ?
• THE EXPERIENCE : did you have LOADS of fun ? Or was the game emotional and epic ? How invested and engaged did you feel ? Did you play only a couple minutes or stay immersed for longer ? 
• SOUNDS AND MUSIC : did the game have a unique and beautiful soundtrack ? Were the sound effects juicy and fun ?
