Welcome to another year of Yandere Jam!

What is Yandere Jam?

• Yandere Jam is about creating games which involve the use of the 'yandere' character archetype in media, mostly seen in anime/manga. 
• Yangire and similar adjacent archetypes are acceptable to portray within your entries too if you find that 'yandere' doesn't quite fit what you'd like to create. For adjacent or sub-archetypes, you can check out this wikia page about yanderes, using it as a vague starting point.
• This jam is NOT ranked and has NO prizes. It is a purely casual jam which aims to encourage people with little to no experience in game dev to create something within the allotted time.
• The only 'goals' of this jam are: Have fun, and hopefully you come out of it with something you can share with others.

What are the rules of the game jam?

Some basic rules of this jam are:

• No prizes and no rankings.
• Project must fit with the theme of the jam (yanderes or adjacent.)
• No entries made with A.I. -- We love human-made content here. ☺
• Projects which have been previously submitted to any year of Yandere Jam MUST have new content.
• Projects which were previously not submitted to this jam, but are pre-existing, are okay to submit to us.
