The theme this time is "Enthusiasm"

Are you feeling the excitement building as the GDC approaches? It's a great time to reflect on the love and passion that drew us all to game development in the first place. Perhaps you have vivid memories of the first game that truly captivated you, or the rush of excitement when you first started learning how to code or design games. These are the experiences that ignite our creativity and fuel our drive to create something truly special. So, if you're participating in this game jam, let your imagination run wild and tap into that sense of wonder and joy that first drew you to this amazing industry. Remember that making games is a journey that can be both challenging and rewarding, but the end result is always worth the effort. Good luck and have fun!

Requirements

1. Create a game based on the theme. 

 2. The game must be created with YAHAHA Studio from March 24th to March 26th, and published publicly in YAHAHA Studio.

Games you create and publish in YAHAHA Studio will be played by players on the YAHAHA App.

How to Submit

1. Once you've finished your project, first publish your game in YAHAHA Studio.

2. Copy your game link from YAHAHA Studio, then create a project page for your game using this link. Remember to add your launch link to the description.

3. Add your submission to this jam page before March 26th 24:00 (UTC +00:00). Now you are ready for the review! You are also more than welcome to showcase your game creation on our Discord's #creator-showcase channel!

RATING

The games will be chosen by developers who participated in the jam,  and YAHAHA staff.

The Developer's Choice is the award given to the developer's first two-rated game from the jam. The developers vote based on the categories below. (1st &2nd)

• Gameplay: How did the game flow, did it have tight controls, what was your experience while playing
• Theme: How well did the entry stick to the theme, did you like their interpretation of it

The YAHAHA's Choice is YAHAHA's favorite game in the jam, and the one we think will perform well on YAHAHA platform. (3rd) 

*In a situation where the same game is chosen for more than one category, said game will receive the highest placing they were awarded and another game will be chosen for the lesser category.

PERKS

There are cash prizes for the top three games in the jam. $300 to first, $200 to second, and $100 to third. (USD)

We also have  participation prize! Up to $30(USD) each.
