Xamk Game Jam Fall 2025 has arrived!

Get ready for this fall's Xamk Game Jam, where you can join your fellow students and graduates to create amazing games! No matter your skill level or specialty, this is your chance to collaborate with others and create something incredible!

Starts at 18.00 on the 31st of October!
Ends at 18.00 on the 2nd of November!
On-site locations at Kouvola in Meduusa Studio & Kotka in GameLab

Jam Rules & Guidelines

Be respectful & follow the Finnish Game Industry Code of Conduct.
Work together, learn, and have fun! The jam is about creativity and collaboration, not competition.
Use only licensed assets & credit creators properly.
Take care of yourself! Stay hydrated, eat well, take breaks, and get some sleep.
Enjoy the process! Game jams are all about experimenting, making cool stuff, and meeting awesome people.

Jammer's Checklist

Create a trailer around 30s-1min long, then post it on a video sharing platform (YouTube is preferred!)
Upload your game and trailer to itch.io
Submit your game to this jam.
Link your game and trailer to the #game-and-video-urls channel on Discord.
(Recommended) Make sure your game can be played in browser or on PC so everyone can try it!

Friday 18:00 - 18.15	Opening ceremony
Sunday 15:00	Make sure your game builds successfully and start uploading it to Itch.io
Sunday 17:30 - 18:00	Game has to be uploaded and video posted to ⁠#game-and-video-urls
Sunday 18:00 ->	Closing ceremony and game showcase
After the jam	Play and give feedback to each others games :)
