Join the Women In Games Jam, a game jam in celebration of International Women's Day! The Women In Games Organisation, in collaboration with the University of Brighton, the University of East London and the University of Portsmouth, brings you a game jam dedicated to celebrating womanhood in all its forms and raising awareness of women's issues, both within the games industry and beyond.
This game jam takes place Friday 28th February at 12pm, and will conclude on Monday 2nd March at 12pm. Judging will commence over the following week and the results will be announced on International Women's Day, Sunday 8th March.
This event is sponsored by Unity, and Hangar 13.

Who can join?
WIGJam is an event hosted for students currently enrolled at the following Universities:
Please check if your University is facilitating the event, if that is not the case you can still join the competition as a remote team/candidate.
Team or Solo?
WIGJam is a team-based jam, all team members can join the game jam page on Itch.io, but only one member of the team is required to submit the final game.
When submitting, please provide the name of your team and your teammates.
Although there is no size restriction on teams, we advise groups of maximum five members, as a larger number might be difficult to organize within the given time frame.
Forbidden Content
Every submission MUST BE respectful, thus avoid any offensive and explicit content.
Sensitive themes are welcome, we encourage to explore them with the aim of raising awareness, but please avoid any dark humour and NSFW depiction.
Themes
On the day of the jam multiple themes will be announced at 11:00 AM GMT via email and the official Discord Server of the event.
Every team must choose at least one theme to follow, however we encourage that teams pick more and experiment with different combinations.
