Hello! So it's the end of the school year, and you're getting ready for summer. You've probably got some vacation time planned out along with some classes, and maybe even an internship. We get it, you're busy... or at the very least, just want to relax.

Maybe for you, that means playing some video games. But what if instead of playing, you tried making a game? 

Introducing WHS Digital Media's first game jam! Don't know what a game jam is? Here's a quick run down:

A game jam is a hackathon for video games. It is a gathering of people for the purpose of planning, designing, and creating one or more games within a short span of time, usually ranging between 24 and 72 hours, and some even longer.

Whether you have 2 years of experience in game development to 2 minutes of experience programming to no experience in anything game-related at all, we invite you to come out, meet some people, make a team, and start jamming! The more people that participate, the better the jam can serve as both a learning experience and a competition.

The theme for this jam is simple: summer. Teams are not to exceed 3 people. We hope to play your awesome games!
