What The Jam!? is an event where people from different types of backgrounds come together and make a videogame, board game or card game in 48 hours. All participants need to rapidly prototype a game design and try to develop those new ideas. We ask participants to create a game from beginning to end within the time allotted. The brief time span is meant to help encourage creative thinking, which results in small but innovative and experimental games, some of which can be developed beyond the event into a commercial success.
