This Game Jam is open to ALL college students in the Boston area, including Babson and Olin. The jam will be held in person-- teams must check in at the opening ceremony and attend our closing ceremony to be eligible for prizes. College students outside of the Boston area are eligible as well, but we cannot provide transportation or housing for the duration of the jam. The Modular Building closes-- you are not allowed to stay overnight.

The Wellesley Game Jam will begin on March 29th @ 5pm in the Grey Modular Building. You and your team will have ~48 hours to develop a game together and submit your final product for a chance to win some awesome prizes! Submissions for the jam will be due on March 31st @ 12pm, and our closing ceremony will be at 2pm. You will have 2 hours to vote on other team's games and learn from other teams. There will also be catered food provided for every meal throughout the jam, so you don't need to worry about heading to the dining hall and can stay focused throughout the weekend.

All students with varying levels of experience are welcome to join: beginners, advanced, narrative designers, artists, programmers, etc!

Rules:

1. You must be a college student to participate and be eligible for prizes in this game jam. You do not need to be from the Boston area but we are not able to provide housing for the duration of the jam.

2. Teams must have at least 2 members and no more than 4 members. Solo developers will not be eligible for prizes.

3. Teams must check-in in person at the Wellesley College Modular Building East Entry on Friday, March 29 from 5-8pm to participate and be eligible for prizes.

4. All submissions must be new games. You are welcome to use old scripts, but the game concept and submission must be created within the 48 hour period.

The theme will be announced at the opening ceremony.
