GFABT stands for  Go Fast And Break Things. What does it mean? Well, in this case it is to create something as quickly as possible, make things that don't really work but kinda do and experiment a ton! Essentially, make a prototype that is potentially really bad but also potentially very good.

Rules for submissions:

  • It has to follow the theme (you can interpret it quite loosely though)
  • Feel free to use any assets or code you can get your hands on (and legally can use). It's encouraged even!
  • Make sure to evolve and experiment with the things you use though.
  • Submit no matter how experimental, wonky or plain bad the game is. The goal is to just do something and experiment.

Rules for feedback:

  • Always check if someone wants feedback, it is (should) be visible at their submission page.
  • Give both positive and critical feedback, both are needed to grow as a developer.
  • Be aware that it takes a lot of bravery to submit something, be mindful of that when playing and commenting.
  • Appreciate when someone gives feedback! it takes time and energy to do, so use the feedback that you get to improve.

I will personally go around and give feedback, to make sure that everybody gets at least something!

If you don't want this kind of experimental project to appear on your developer page, you can go to your profile page, click edit theme and then hide the games that you don't want shown.

See you around you mighty developer <3
