WELCOME
The GDXR (Game Development and Extended Reality) club of Army Institute of Technology presents GENESIS 4, the most innovative and beginner-friendly Game Jam of the Year! This year, we are blending game development, cognitive enhancement, and Indian mythology to create games that not only entertain but also serve a greater purpose.
The game jam will feature a sponsored problem statement that challenges participants to design game-based solutions for elderly individuals. The game should revolve around the problem statement while giving participants the freedom to interpret the challenge in their unique way — all within the limited time of the jam.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Design and develop a game-based solution for elderly individuals that offers an intuitive, easy-to-use user interface while avoiding reflex-heavy gameplay. The game should be inspired by Indian mythology (Ramayana, Mahabharata, Upanishads, Puranas) to create an engaging and culturally resonant experience.
The game will serve as a cognitive enhancement tool, measuring and improving mental agility through interactive storytelling and challenges.
Additionally, compatibility with the VKutumb ecosystem would be a valuable addition, enhancing accessibility and expanding the game's reach.
