VGx Game Jam

Welcome to our Second VGx Game Jam of 2020, all students current and past will partake in the challenge to show off their skills and to have some fun... Okay, well a lot of fun! Starting Sept 24th at 5PM(ET) the Theme will be unveiled in our the #in-the-news channel of our Discord server

The top 5 games will be judged by your instructors. The Winner will receive our highly decorated trophy for their campus to display!

Jam Start - Sept 24th at 5PM(et)

Jam End - Sept27th at 5PM(et)

Voting End - Oct 9th at 5pm(et)

Winner announcement - Oct 16th at 5pm(et)

Create a Team 

Try to gather your team prior to the start of our Game Jam, if you do not have a team or are looking for more members check out or post in the channel #lfg of our VGx Discord server.

Come up with a Team Name  

What you need to do:

1) Watch out for the theme, released 5pm(ET) Thursday Sept 24th^th

2) Build a game according to the theme

3) Submit your game along with your team name via itch.io

4) Share it in our #bragging-rights channel

Criteria Concept - How well does it match the theme?

Visual impression - Does the art style suit the game?

Fun factor - Simply put, is it fun to play?

Soundtrack - Does the audio fit the game?

Replayability - Is it compelling and does it have high replay value?

Creativity - How creative and unique is the game?
