THEME: "One room is all you need"
Jam Information
- In the spirit of being remote, this jam will not be exclusive to UCSD students. All are welcome to participate!
- This jam begins Thursday, April 8th at 5PM PT.
- The jam will run for one week and end on Thursday, April 15th at 6PM PT.
- This longer time-frame is to allow participation to be a bit more casually paced! You should still only plan to make a game that could be finished in a few days.
- Discord: We encourage all communication/team-finding to be directed to our VGDC Discord's Game Jam section!
- You are welcome to post about yourself to look for teammates. Be respectful!
Jam Rules
- Have fun! Don't worry about making a perfect dream game, just let yourself make something neat!
- Use anything you want to make a game. Unity, Godot, UE4, GameMaker, Construct... any tool is fine!
- Entries can be completed as an individual or as a team.
- We ask that teams have no more than 5 people.
- Outside assets (art/music/code) are fine to use as long as you have the right to use them!
- Respect other participants!
- No NSFW/Hateful submissions.
During the Jam
- We encourage everyone to keep an eye on our Discord for resources to help you build your game!
- Feel free to message in #game-jam-general for help or just to chat.
- Show off your progress in our Discord!
After the Jam
- There will be a voting period lasting after the submission deadline to Monday April 19th, 12PM PT.
- All contributors to submissions will be eligible to vote, so we highly encourage everyone to do so!
- Games will be ranked after the voting period ends. See how well you do! Get featured in our club showcases later on!
