INAUGURAL GAME JAM!

THEME: INFECTION

RULES:
- Participants should be members of the Game Development UWA discord, and be based in WA
- Games can be made in any engine - although specific support will be provided by the committee in Godot
- Games should be playable on all computers (Windows, Mac, Linux exports and/or a web export)
- Teams should be 1-4 people in size
- All games should be developed in-jam entirely, although re-use of a reasonable amount of code/assets from previous projects is permitted
- Uphold the spirit of the jam!
- All games are to be submitted by 11:59PM on Monday June 30th
VOTING CRITERIA:
All criteria are weighted equally
- Creative Use of Theme
- Fluid and Fun Gameplay
- Appealing Art and Sound
KEY DATES:
Monday June 23rd 10AM-12PM (Venue TBA @ UWA):
- Theme reveal
- Brief introduction to using GitHub with Godot Projects
- Brief introduction to using itch.io
- Formation of teams (for those without)
Wednesday June 25th and Monday June 30th (EZONE Social):
- Peer development and hangout sessions.
- Coding and Godot drop-in help also provided!
- Hangout with other jam participants!
- (Maybe play some games on development breaks too )
Monday June 30th:
- Submissions close at 11:59PM!
Tuesday July 1st 11AM-1PM (EZONE SOCIAL @ UWA):
- In person showcase of all our games!
- In person voting (online option will be open for those unable to attend)
- Announcement of jam winner!
