Welcome to UTSC's Game Jam Summer Series!

This will be the first of three game jams over the summer (of 2020). There will be different themes and/or challenges for each game jam.

This game jam's challenge will be... an ART ASSET SHOWDOWN

Everyone will be using the same assets found here:     https://oddpotatogift.itch.io/16x16-fantasy-pack  

It is up to you with how to make a game with these assets. While they're made for a platformer, you can make any game you want, as long as it only uses these art assets.

Rules of the game jam:

1. You can't use any visual art assets outside of the ones given.
2. Using effects/shaders, photo editing (without taking away from the art style), and public domain SFX/music is allowed
3. Any genre is fair game
4. Any tool can be used
5. Max team size is 4 people
6. You can’t vote for your own team’s game
7. Don't make anything illegal
8. Try to learn something new and have fun
9. Submit your game/idea even if not finished :)

The game jam will run from May 25, 2020 to June 8, 2020
