ACM is hosting our first Game Jam !

Rules
- Follow the Jam's theme: Growth.
- Sign up for a GitHub account if you don't have one already.
- Create a public repository for your game's source code and assets and push your changes before Novemeber 18th, 23:59 CT
- Submit your game through itch.io
Voting
Once your game is submitted, it will be voted on by fellow contestants, and you can cast your votes, and play their games as well.
Voting will open shortly after the jam ends and is open to everyone who’s submitted a game. Categories for voting are as follows: Overall, Gameplay, Graphics, Audio, Innovation and Theme Interpretation.
New to Game Development ?
Here are some helpful tutorials and tools to help you get started depending on what you are familiar with:
- JavaScript: Phaser, or Sprig.
- C++ or C#: Godot, Unity and Unreal Engine.
- Rust: Bevy.
- Python: Pygame or Godot (Godot uses GDScript, which is similar to Python).
- Java: libGDX.
- Lua: LÖVE or Defold. LIKO-12!
- Flutter: Flame.
- Go: Ebitengine.
Some useful examples:
- Roguelike dungeon crawler: JavaScript or Haskell.
- Text Adventure/Interactive Fiction: Clojure or Ink (similar to Markdown).
- 8-bit console games: PICO-8, Pixel Vision 8, TIC-80 (Lua), BASIC8 (Basic), or Pyxel (Python).
